Well all they said it will be in the game not if it will be avoidable or not.Im not sure to what extent but as they show during demos there are plots we can avoid so i hope that is one of that.

If have to i hope at least i can go in my normal outfit and that i won't be forced to do anything.

You're the head of the Inquisition and are supposed to save Thedas 'from itself' and fight armies of demons, cultists, darkspawn and Orlesian used coach salesmen. I think wearing a silly costume, if necessary, should be the least of your worries. -_-

Inquisitor: "Sera, I'll give you five crowns if you step on the comtesse's train."

Sera: "Make it ten."

Inquisitor: "Done."

*cue screaming as the comtesse's train takes half the outfit with it*

Inquisitor and Sera:

The Orlesian ball, the Grand Game, and Orlesian politicking are probably the three aspects of the game that I am looking forward to most. Yes, the veil needs to be closed, but I don't want the game to consist entirely of that.

Seal rift, attack castle, seal rift, attack castle, seal rift, attack castle, seal rift, attack castle.

BORING.

Eh...

They said that ball is in the game i argue that if you want play grand game or go into ball sure it is fine but i shouldn't be forced into that and it should be optional and judging by 1 interview it is.

Well, I'd like to attend, of course... But only if I'll be allowed to wear something less ridiculous that that collar or, rather, a formal outfit of Free Marches/Fereldan fashion. And all for the sake of this delightful feeling - "I stick out like a sore thumb, and that's great! See if I care".

Yes! Like my favourite part of DA:O was the Landsmeet. I love politics and intrigue And swaying people to your views. :)

And also, definitely boring.

Well then, your character isn't really doing their duty as Inquisitor if they skip the ball. After the veil tears are fixed, politics will still need to be dealt with.

Unfortunately duty isn't always fun and killing demons.

Same here. Add the fact that my Warden was a Cousland (ie, most likely to be involved in that sort of thing)...

I found the Landsmeet and the Amaranthine Nobles to be far more interesting than the Blight or the Mage-Templar conflict.

I don't know how politically-minded my Inquisitor is going to be, though.

I always play a Cousland and at my first Landsmeet I was so driven by revenge and hatred for Loghain that I lost the meet. That taught me!

As for DA:I , I definitely have to see how she'll feel throughout the game. I have a feeling my first play-through will be a little all over the map as I figure out who my inquisitor really is, haha.

It seems your inquisitor is single-minded to a fault.

Landsmeet where you had to present all your arguments against Loghain and get the nobles on your side?

I believe the Orlesian ball will have elements similar to the Landsmeet, at least I definitely hope so.

Who said that i just said that only inq goal is to fix veil and there it ends same was with warden you didn't need care or belong to wardens outside taint in your veins all you had to do is stop the blight you can even leave them.

This practically was nothing more than quarrel with loghain where i had in the end kick his ass at best dealing with nobles was limited to telling what howe did to his son and even then you didn't have to do that.

There is no ball or small talk...

"Who said that i just said that only inq goal is to fix veil."

You did:

"Main goal is fix veil and forcing onto something should end there."

"Inq goal is fix veil not to please nobility ,mages ,templar or whatever...."

Also, I don't remember ever being able to "leave the wardens." Even in Awakening you are still a member of their order, tasked with maintaining Vigil's Keep and resolving disputes among the local nobles. That expanion was almost entirely about politicking.

Noah Gervais did a nice little video on it (skip ahead to 1:15:25): http://www.youtube.c...h?v=Fo2iIwYbFO8

It sounds like you want an action game that is entirely focused on combat and killing to the exclusion of all story. Maybe Diablo 3 would be better for you?

Nope i did said that inq only goal is to fix veil what i will do in pt nr 1 , 2 or 3 in is another matter...

At the end of dao.Daa forcible bring up wardens but even then when loghain say "i see you came back to the wardens" you can say "it is only temporary".

And no expasion wasn't about politicking as i said you could punish peoples in fact only thing were oaths that you can end immediately.

And then here we go you didn't read what i have said as pretty much it shows.

Actually, I think she addressed everything you said pretty accurately. It's not our fault that you aren't clear and then back-pedal when anyone quotes you.

Perhaps i will explain what i meant... -_-

When i said that inq goal was fix veil it mean it is only enforced (like stop the blight) goal and main goal of the game but if you desire it doesn't have to be your inq only 1 goal for example if you desire you may want help mages but you don't have to it is optional goal.

Notice on what i responded with sentece "who said that inq only goal is to fix the veil" you said that my inq is single-minded which i denied by saying who says that only inq goal is to fix veil because you assumed that was my only inq goal.

Omg people, posting Avante Garde fashion is not what people actually wear lol.

We do know (from the character profile for Vivienne) that she throws a party for the Inquisition, so I suspect that's the ball we end up at.

I hope we have an opportunity to throw a little get-together... Oh, it'd be perfect, Vivienne could dress my mage in the finest silks and fabrics available, adorned with the usual enchantments befitting that of mage robes...!!!

I could see it now; the musicians, Leliana's little birds, could play a beautiful requiem as red paints the scene!

I'm sure Vivienne will have my pure white dress only bloom like a rose when stained with red...

I've quoted your line that I responded to regarding single-mindedness.  You said specifically that all your inquisitor wanted to do was fix the veil and wouldn't cater to nobility or anyone else. That's basically the definition of single-minded.

I don't mean to fight here, but if you're really so put off by anything other than combat, I would suggest that DA is not for you.
