"Inq goal is fix veil not to please nobility ,mages ,templar or whatever...."

I've quoted your line that I responded to regarding single-mindedness.  You said specifically that all your inquisitor wanted to do was fix the veil and wouldn't cater to nobility or anyone else. That's basically the definition of single-minded.

I don't mean to fight here, but if you're really so put off by anything other than combat, I would suggest that DA is not for you.

Ehh renember where our discussion on that matter started?

You said that it was main goal of Inquisition and it was my inq duty (not that he need to care about duty it is rpg after all).

Well then, your character isn't really doing their duty as Inquisitor if they skip the ball. After the veil tears are fixed, politics will still need to be dealt with.

Unfortunately duty isn't always fun and killing demons.

On what i responded that it isn't main goal of inq or Inquisition only fixing veil is and it isn't to please mages , templars or orlesian nobles but did i say that it can't be your goal or rather i said it isn't your main goal?

Then you responded that my inq is single-minded but we were aruging what main (enforced) goal of inq is didn't we not what my inq goals are?

Now read my first posts here that say that im intrested in story and rp elemets but as i said im not intrested in story that kill rp elements for example siding with mages shouldn't be enforced goal it should be optional same as siding with templars same shouldn't be done with orlais or orlesian nobles that was my point. As i said do you want side with orlais or orlesian nobles that is fine it is your choice as other player to chose mages but other players shoudn't be forced into that.

In fact as i said i buy rpg game not because of combat because if i wanted combat i would buy shooter or as you said diablo i buy game because of rp element and expect that aspect to be good.

Just give it up Komandor. We got it. You do not like Orlesian fashion, and you do not want to attend the ball.

Leave the thread to those of us who do appreciate the aforementioned things.

Yes, but I'm just saying that Morrigan jumped on the bandwagon as well.

I don't see why you're taking such offense to the single-minded comment. I was just an observation on the character you're choosing to play.

I figure that dressing up and going to a ball, getting a taste of the intrigue *plus* possibly recruiting/stopping an assassin - sounds like a blast to me!

I always liked doing Katsumi's (sp?) recruiting mission in ME2 was fun for just this reason -Shepard didn't have a lot of opportunities to socialize lol

I'm looking so forward to socializing with nobles.

One of the things I loved best about DA:A was the mixer with the nobility and the decision making!

...We get it.

Can we go back to talking about the ball now? Preferably without your input regarding Orlesians?

Where is empress Celene during all of this? It would be great if she makes an appearance at Halamshiral. I'm hoping that we get to align the Inquisition with either her or Gaspard.

I have a feeling this is where the real meat of the game is going to be at.

Morrigan is the arcane adviser to Empress Celene, so we probably meet her there.

Bodahn said that he and Sandal were heading to Orlais at the end of DA 2.

Vivienne invites the Inquisitor to the ball as a means of currying favor. Looks like we will pick her up as a companion in Halamshiral.

I adore all the intrigue and excitement of going to a fancy event.

I can't wait to meet Empress Celene, and hopefully impress the skirts off her.

I am praying for full face masks, face masks are just so much awesome. I would love it if we could edit/alter the material of the masks, maybe even adding some symbols/heraldry.

Yes, that would be amazing. I would love to be able to custom make a mask for my inquisitor that shows some of her values or adventures.

Oh goodness, that would be amazing. You know, there's been some discussion about how you can possibly customize your heraldry for the Inquisition; wouldn't it be awesome if it incorporated something beyond just colors, like a wolf or fox emblem, and that was reflected in the Inquisitor's mask? Or even their outfit???

...

I am hoping for WAY too much here, I know. I just get so excited about fancy balls in general and the Orlesian Game in particular. Like... Elaborate masks? Venetian Carnival-esque costumes? Bards in action? Every courteous smile could be hiding a potential enemy or ally? Everything about you, from your clothes to your actions to your words, holds weight and shifts the room in your favor or out of it?

It's so high-pressure. It's so horrible. It's so fascinating. I would be lying if I said I didn't want to experience just the tiniest bit of that in Inquisition. Though I suppose just reading about it in Masked Empire will have to do~. ^_^

Made a useless post in Suggestions section but I do want to see such a mini-game and achievement:

Fashion achievement

We all remember that brothel "quest" in DAO with "give me something mind blowing" - right? How about making something similar but for the Orlesian ball?

Let's say Inquisitor is invited for the ball and looking for best outfit. He\she comes to the the most famous tailor in Orlei with request "to make something mind blowing" and as a result gets the most ridiculous gown you can imagine. Achievement comes to those who risks to use it during the ball. Or to one who can convince his party to dress this way and bring it to the ball.

Anyway, if we do have "High fashion" in the game we have to make it count!

I want to see how crazy and elaborate some of the Orlesians get with their fashion. Rocket shaped hair with a golden, dragon scaled dress with feathers?

I always play a Cousland and at my first Landsmeet I was so driven by revenge and hatred for Loghain that I lost the meet. That taught me!

As for DA:I , I definitely have to see how she'll feel throughout the game. I have a feeling my first play-through will be a little all over the map as I figure out who my inquisitor really is, haha.

Just out of pure curiosity...What does the KS in your name stand for?

The pics which they have released so far kind of put me in mind of The Hunger Games:

Based on the artwork from the world of Thedas, Tevinter clothing seems to be equally elaborate. I confess to not liking it as much, however, because of its muted and dark tones <_<

In addition to wolf and fox emblems, I'd love wolf and fox masks/helmets. Costumes would be amazing and are something I didn't even think of!

Spoiler
. But alas, I feel like we are wishing for too much.

I would love to attend the ball segment of the game in full armour with a personal guard unit. Basically refusing their culture and showing my might!

I agree.  Chatting with their nobles is fine, but I'm not wearing one of those outfits if I can help it.  If it's mandatory though... well, just think of it like a Halloween party.  At least you can hide your shame behind a mask.  :P
