I want to see how crazy and elaborate some of the Orlesians get with their fashion. Rocket shaped hair with a golden, dragon scaled dress with feathers?
I'm hoping Orlesian fashion reaches Viktor & Rolf levels of crazy:

I think Viktor & Rolf must be consultants on Inquisition.

Orlais is France but those masks are Italian.
I think Viktor & Rolf must be consultants on Inquisition.
That is definitely possible, it looks like they're both influenced by the same inspirations.

I don't even know where to begin... In fact, this is so bizarre that I can't even tell if I like it or not. It's like trying to read an alien language or something. My brain feels broken.

Do not fret, my friend. I speak giant frill lizard.

She is asking for help. She cannot breathe. This is not what she signed up for.

Viktor & Rolf can have that effect on a brain ![]()
The portion of the game set in Orlais and Halamshiral is going to be epic. I'm crossing my fingers for an elaborate side quest where we have to procure the makings for an Orlesian gown. The first pic almost remindes me of the Miraluka from KOTOR 2.
The first looks fine, while the second don't look too comfortable. Honestly don't care too much about fashion. Most important for me is if my female PC will get finally nice, unique clothing not something like ugly ME dress or male outfit like in DA2 DLC.
Looks to grandiose for my taste. Hopefully it is consistent in the game and not simply done to show how exotic Orlais is.
1st. Where's the ingame models for ridiculous men's ballroom fashions
?
2nd. I kinda love this stuff, the over elaborate detail work as opposed to the limited utility are classic aristocracy. (Ever heard that 'emerald green' dyed dresses were ridiculously toxic thanks to the arsenic dye? And it's not like it was found out and then abandoned, no, people kept on wearing them
).
I do wonder where all the face masks went. Face masks are literally the highpoint of Orlesion fashion and integral to their character but we've never seen them actually in game (not here, nor in Mark of the Assassin). I suppose it'll be retconned or something, but that's highly unfortunate to me.
Is she hiding inside a cake?
Just out of pure curiosity...What does the KS in your name stand for?
Oh, it's my initials. Kyra-Ann Sedgwick.
... You didn't just give out your full name on an internet forum, did you?

Anything that can be found online by searching my name is negligible. At most they'll fine my facebook which is blocked to friends only, or my linked in which has no information about me anyways. Mostly they'll find information about the actress that I'm named after.
Calm down.
I don't think they have abandoned the whole mask thing. In the following illustration you can clearly see that some of the ball attendees are shielding their faces:
So this is where we meet our warden!
