Poor ME3MP.  It just couldn't compete with Call of the Sleeping Dog Titans over the Horizon 5: Return of the Diablo.

If Dragon Age Inquis has multiplayer it has a higher chance of putting a serious dent in ME3 mp at least in the short term.

True that.  I haven't really heard well, anything on that front since it was first mentioned, way back when.  Assuming it's any good, assuming it still exists and isn't some subtle troll by David Gaider, I'd probably play that quite a bit.

Ya and by the time it comes out for PC, ME4 should be arriving. I'm going to guess they will be shooting for end of March release.

 

Not to mention the game for pc will be a year old before PC can play it.

 

I only do PC, as I really only like sports games on console.

 

Oh and DA3 is about to come out so I will prolly be playing / modding that until the best game evar!! (ME) comes out.

But.. ME3MP is a FPS with 3rd person to view your guy, but the shooting mechanics are that of a FPS. Whether your a gun or a person holding a gun next to set crosshairs it works out to be the same, hence why RH advantage is possible.

ME3 has a cover system and some other enviromental intractions including RHA around soft cover.

 

ME3 has many distinct ways to animate engagements with enemies.  "Hurrrr!  Huhr!  Mwahahaha!  They're dead!"  for example.

 

ME3 has Quarian Ass and other perks because it's designed around being able to see your kit. 

 

ME3 is a TPS game.

 

Crosshairs are not a differentiator of FPS games.  If anything the awkward visual layout between your avatar and the center-screen crosshairs is another feature of a TPS games.

ME3MP is unique... I don't know about anyone else but for me it's the best multiplayer I've played so far. You can play all other games as much as you want but you still come back or sneak in once in a while because it's that good. I'm looking forward to the next MEMP... hopefully, it'll be better than this one.

 

Btw, it's funny to me that some folks talk about how they don't play ME3MP but they post on the forum...LOL! Ever since I stopped playing BL2, I stopped checking the forum gradually, not to talk of even posting at all... So what's up with that?

With so many new games coming out, I'll just say I am on a hiatus. That is until they officially announce the remastered trilogy for X1 and PS4 that is. Then I'll be back in full force.

Yes, because a game that has a third-person camera is clearly an FPS in disguise. Also, RHA is not possible in FPS games, although headglitching is the same concept.

OT: It probably will for me. I'll still play ME3 from time to time, but I don't have enough space on my desk for both a PS3 and a PS4, so switching back and forth is going to be annoying.
