That's why I said "most of them", and in this case "volus adept". The engineer is the only one with decent damage output. Which is not though the roof anyway, as if you replace "volus adept" with "volus engineer" and "GE" with, say, "Fury", you're exactly in the same position as before
Well yeah the Fury isnt just a 'Good kit' it outperforms most kits in the game so what's your point exactly? Volus kits are bad because they cant keep up with top tier kits? You already made it into an edong competition by suggesting that volus kits are bad because they dont score as highly as some other kits, but lets move away from that...you want argue the effectiveness of Volus kits?
Ok The Volus adept is one of the best detonators in the game, the biotic orbs allow you to detonate both tech and biotic explosions and given that you have multiple orbs available at once means that you can perform one explosion after another....Then you factor in the potential 45% debuf you get from all of the orbs hitting. Factor in the ability to trivialize Phantoms and heal team mates and you have a very effective kit.
The Volus Vanguard I believe has (if specced correctly) the fastest cool-down to his Biotic Charge meaning he to can be a very good detonator, and who doesn't like stealth charges.
Volus Engineer is very powerful being able to take out multiple units and helping team mates with the debuffs.
The only one I would argue that is really lacking is the Sentinel but he can still be very useful with Decoy and Combat drone (Still he's dependant on a good weapon for any real output).
The problem is that you seem to be assessing them from an individual perspective but the kits shine (especially the Adept and Vanguard when combined with team mates who can prime allowing you to detonate for them. Its a team based game at the end of the day and Volus kits can be very effective in the right hands and with the right team.
