Loooooooooooooooool yeah putting words in your mouth  I gave several reasons why Volus kits can be effective as did several other people but you Deerber discounted them because Killing Efficiency is the most important thing in the game and nothing else seems to matter, In this thread you have even been given ways in which Volus can kill things quickly. Deerber arrogantly claimed that no one could keep up with him playing a good kit if the other person was playing a Volus (I was even nice enough to not calling him out on this moronic statement) then when Nuke gave him a good example he backtracks and mentions the Fury .
 
I gave you examples and then you threw you a tantrum as a result, its not my problem if you or Deerber get butthurt from my posts...

Out of curiosity, which kits do you consider to be weaker or less effective than the Volus?

Funny, when I first saw the merc I thought "man, this kit is a joke, who can make sense of this.." But now he's one of my favorite characters - favorite Volus anyway.

You either have no clue what you're talking about, or you have never played alongside decent teammates.

 

You need high power and/or weapon damage to be effective. Volus have neither. It's that simple, really.

 

 

Look... I don't want to start an edong competition or stuff, but if you play a volus adept and I play, say... A GE, not even the best kit around... There's just no way you're going to kill as fast as I do. Not once in 20 matches. I mean okay, they're fun to some, but you can't argue that they're effective kits.

All you've done is moan about how important the scoreboard is to you, how OP the GI is, how much you want "support" to be important (whatever that means). And some other unrelated crap about biotic explosions and Platinum Geth.

You wanted proof and I gave you two examples after you said nobody called them ineffective. I have already given you examples of Volus kits doing well with good teams but you completely ignored it and moaned about effectiveness like a child. Other people also gave you examples.

Is it really that hard to grasp the difference between being more or less effective than others?

 

It is indeed pointless to try and detonate stuff that's already gone - which is what happens when you play with (what I would call) good teammates. Having cloak and Shieldboost (the Volus' two signature abilities) is equally pointless when they don't change anything about what you can and cannot do (which is what happens with good teammates). Despite how much I love to headbutt all things, it isn't very effective when you play with good teammates either, b/c most stuff is dead before you can break some skulls. Do I like that? No. Does that mean headbutting is not effective? No, of course not.

Volus Vanguard with the 33 percent chance of no cool down on the charge (or whatever it is) is the best thing, I've gotten 5 in row with them and there is nothing like seeing one repeatedly smashing into whatever is unlucky enough to be on the receiving end of the purple ball of death (all my volus are purple)

Best to play with friends, we always play whoever gets the highest score gets to pick the kit for the next game, bet your ass I always pick the VV
