Not inherently, but she did bad things for a cause that's actually good, so I'd put her above, say, Loghain.
That's not bias at all, nope

I find it interesting that some people can absolve Isabela of murdering slaves on her ship, but some of the same people condemn Adrian for taking actions because she wanted to free the mages from the Chantry controlled Circles, an institution some people on Adrian's ideological side see as dehumanizing and inhumane.
She did huh? Ugh, I liked Isabela (still sort of do) but that was just so hypocrite.

People automatically absolve characters they like such as Isabela and Zevran and I assure you such characters are tenfold more "evil" than Adrian.
I liked Isabela too but I had to put aside judgement.
Questionable methods to reach a goal?
I think it's the goal that allows some people to understand where Adrian was coming from. After all the mages who were forced to endure the Rite of Tranquility, or the populations who perished in the Right of Annulment, I can see why some people can relate to Adrian's desire to see her people free.

Isabela can be punished by turning her over to the Qunari.

I don't know about that.
I still have to read Asunder, so I can't make a full judgement of Adrian yet. But from what I have read of her; she does sound like someone I won't like either.
Oh, get over it already. I assume you're not still hating Isabela too?
Nope. Still don't hate Isabela. And also, Isabela's actions with the slaves didn't have nearly as far reaching consequences as Adrian's will. The two are not comparable situations in my mind.

I was talking about stealing the Tome of Koslun.

Oh. Ok, yeah, I agree that was f*cking selfish as hell and dumb.

And yet you don't hate Isabela.
The way I see it, the difference between Adrian and Isabela is that Isabela can be made to become genuinely repentent. Adrian, however, will keep on believing what she did was morally right unless Inquisition gives us the opportunity to call her out on it.
Ugh, Adrian. It's easy to "follow a cause" when you're the one who benefits most from it, isn't it.
Fiona is somewhat a favorite of writers, I doubt we saw the last of her.
And yet you don't hate Isabela.
Well, for one, Isabela didn't frame me for murder and she also came back to help me fix what she screwed up. And she actually admits that she f*cked up.

I think she goes up in the blaze possibly. And she's not a "favorite". Otherwise, we would have seen her in game already and not only in media outside of the games.

Adrian is unable to un-kill Pharamond; the most she can do is limit the damage caused by the war. Which would mean winning it as quickly as possible while not causing too much collateral damage.

I seriously doubt that she's dead; she hasn't yet met Alistair.

How she was only in 2 da products where in 1 product she played only minor role.
In fact i would rather say that either leliana or alistair would be writers pet as they had as far most attention.

Quickly win? Have you seen the crap both sides are doing in the Hinterlands?
And on top of that, betraying your friend and framing them with murder...makes my blood boil.
I don't know if a meeting is necessary. The Fiona-Alistair relationship might come up even if she's dead.I seriously doubt that she's dead; she hasn't yet met Alistair.
She doesn't have to meet Alistair
Esp since quite a few world states probably have Alistair dead.

I think Xil is referring to Cameron Lee's comment that the protagonist can end the Mage-Templar War fairly early on, and even bring their favored faction into the Inquisition.

You have to admit all her connections are somewhat an author's favorite. Duncan, Maric, Alistair, former slave, raped and abused, a prominent grey warden who somewhat saved the world from darkspawn, hasn't done anything remotely evil, and being a female elf simply adds up as well.
The fact that she is not in the games is what makes her a favorite because a favorite cannot really exist in Bioware games but i can in media. She is also arguably the strongest and unpossessed mage.
