First off I want to say THANK YOU THANK YOU for a great story and a great game.
The characters/acting is terrific and I found I really cared about the characters.  I was a little clunky with battles at first (I'm more used to mmo's) but got the hang of it and can't wait to play through again now I know what I'm doing.

Only a couple of piddly complaints/suggestions:

After each major decision would be nice to get feedback from my party.  Or even to be able to get advice ahead of time.  There is a little bit of that, but not very much.

After Alistair FINALLY asks me to bed (boy that boy is shy!)  he never asks me again.  Hey, I like to be pursued a bit!  When in Camp, he should come to me once in a while. :P  I was glad at least that at the end of the game he wanted to meet me upstairs...but a bit more would be fun :)

I talked Alistair into bedding Morrigan.  Now, wouldn't it be fun to have that as a optional 3-way ?

I can't wait to exploring some mods and trying the game again.   Gotta say I love you guys !

Good luck getting the RTO and Awakenings finished

Your second play through will be even better. You'll find soooo many things you missed the first time. Especially dialoge.

There is a 3 way (or 4) option.. just not with Alistair.

Almost done with my second playthrough. Changed the setting from Normal to Nightmare and am running with an entirely different group. The challenge is much better and the dialogue is new again, even if the scenarios are mostly the same.

Yeah. I was positively amazed how much the game picks up the pace in the last 2-3 hours, rushing towards the grand finale without making you go back and forth between locations. Simply put, the ending is more than worth it.

I urge you to do another (and another?) play through. Try different things. There a a lot of different ways of how you can play this game.

Yeah, there is one with Alistair. He'll gladly agree to it. Same place, same woman.

Him agreeing to it or not depends on how the player handled the Goldanna situation.

I was thinking the same thing! Wouldn't he be more amenable to it if you could be involved? And it doesn't seem like it would be a problem in terms of the ritual. Glad I'm not the only one thinking dirty. ;)

I'm about a 3rd of the way through with a human noble rogue this time... but leliana and I are bonding over shoes, and I'm gonna have Zethran in my party this time, so .... even though I just got Alistair's rose, I'm not sure who I'm gonna end up with :) It has been fun to see how the dialog changes.

I think my favorite part of the whole ending series of events, is the parting words of your companions, before you head into the city.

Especially Morrigan, with a high favor.

Yep - Alistair has no problem with 3 ways if he likes you enough. Morrigan doesn't go for them though.

yeah i liked that part a lot, though when the dog whines i feel really bad (i really like dogs :P). The game really is a master piece, and im pretty sure the only game i've gone through twice without switching to another game. And with a bit more time spent getting the last few achievements it will put the total play time over fallout 3.

Chat up Ohgren. Because if your friends his last speech choked me up the most. Oh, and if you play it right, you can have Alistair AND Zevran :-)

This is one of my biggest gripes with the game. Past titles handled this better, in this game I never got any sense of group cohesion or teamwork or hell, people acknowledging each others' existeance, until that short battle plan conversation at the Denerim gates.

There are a few points where your team will offer advice and/or you can seek it, such as in Lothering and Redcliffe.  And definitely some places where your team will provide direction, and taking it (or not) will dramatically alter your game - for example if you take Morrigan into the Circle Tower she will make a suggestion, and, if you take it, you'll be forced to kill Wynne.  I remember Sten having a few places like this, too, where he offered advice and my reaction caused combat.

Also, certain locations in the game will generate inter-party dialogues where they will interact with each other - depending on what's happened, who you're romancing, and which party members you have along, these dialogues can be extremely funny and add a lot of character to your NPCs.  One thing to be careful of is moving in range of "local color" speakers (such as gossips) or initiating conversation with others, as these will override the party exchange.  My first play through I kept having party exchanges getting cut off and I missed nearly all of them.  The second time through I stopped every time someone started talking and let the whole thing play out.

I have to agree with this.  There are many places where Zevran will offer his opinion and will even speak for the group, Alistair will confront the player at at least one point and gossip about everyone else if your approval is high enough, and the party banter really makes the game for me.

This playthrough, doing the blackstone irregular quest where you inform women that their husbands are dead, I've been having other party members tell them.  They range from very nice (Alistair and Leliana) to downright cruel (Zevran and Morrigan). There's a lot of little touches like that which give the game replayability.

And this is why my Chancellor Mage is spending her post-game on the lookout for the hottest bi-curious female noble in Thedas.

This game has, in my opinion, ridiculous replay factor.  I've done several playthroughs, some with the same character, and there's still so much that I have not seen nor heard.  My boyfriend just started his third character and I will watch him play sometimes and be flummoxed by how different it seems from the game I play.
