Does it mention *where* this Skyhold is?
The name makes it sound like it belonged to the Avvars, so I'd guess it'll be somewhere in the Frostback Mountains.

Laidlaw didn't provide any. The magazine just says stuff like 'Josephine is an advisor for politics and a romance for men and women.' 'Cullen is a Templar and one of your advisors.'
Ah, that's a little saddening. I think they deserved a one line blurb like the companions got.
Considering the alternative is that it isn't in the game at all...
It might as well not be.
Scouting missions are one thing. We're not the one who go scouting so, sending a soldier and then receiving the results makes sense.
But winning the friendship of the one supplier of lyrium in the continent deserved more; is clicking a button and, suddenly, you're friends with Orzammar really that much of a difference from it not being in the game at all?
At the very least have a dwarven delegation be sent to Skyhold if you don't want to recreate Orzammar.

Probably very close to the pass between Orlais-Dales and Ferelden, though I can't help but wonder if maybe that's a bit too close to the Breach at Haven.
It doesn't just say that Cullen is a templar though....
At any rate, it was a great article. Lots of cool tidbits. ![]()
Also, this is the write up of the Dales Highlands:

Might be the point, its probably visible from the Inquisitor's window, ever-present throughout the game.
Cass: Inquisitor there's a breech in blah blah, we must go save it, people are dying.
Inq: Hm.. yes, does that stained glass look good there? Maybe if we go with this other one?
Cass: You've been fixing that window all day Inquisitor
Inq: I'm sorry what? Josie which do you like better?
Spot on
I super stoked for the Skyhold and all it's rooms and features but what really got me excited was the mention of Val Royeaux! I can't wait to go there! I'm so excited to be exploring the city. ![]()
no rooms and bedrooms?
Cameron Lee confirmed the Inquisitor get's his or her own suite of rooms; I assume each companion and advisor gets their own room as well.
just read the article on my phone, was very well detailed and was glad to read about some features that havent even been discussed in detail by the devs yet

The Frostback Mountains are pretty big so I'm sure it's far away from the main breach.

Its close enough to see it outside the windows though

Cameron Lee said in a Q&A that the Inquisitor has a set of rooms for their use

You already know why your character did those things. What's to flesh out?
Because it adds to the game.
Not going to lie, picking our heraldry has me pretty excited. It's the little things.

What's this about a heraldry?
Can... can we design it ourselves..?
If so, then Thedas had better prepare for the Dongquisition. Evildoers will learn to fear our crudely drawn penises!

What an awe inspiring idea - but sadly unlikely, as I remember devs saying that the breach continues to expand throughout the game, and if your fortress was too close it'd probably get swallowed up.
Also, another Illyria fan! Yippee (ends off topic discussion).
SO there's an area of squicky business when a magazine publication (and business partner) releases something that inevitably reaches the internet. As such the ability to circumvent the price is pretty high, but it's an area of moral quagmire for myself if I see a lot of links to direct quotes (and also images) from the article. Or offsite links to it, because by doing nothing I feel like I become complicit.
Try to discuss the details and the like without posting the direct contents of the article please.
It would also be good for the game not to assume that the Inquisitor’s answers are truthful.Which is why it would be good to include a "don't want to talk about it" option. Obviously they can't include options that will make everyone happy, but I'd rather we have the ability to do so in the first place, even if the available choices aren't exactly what I had in mind, than to not have this feature in the game.
The article vaguely mentions chantry people in val royeux. I didn't find it very oriented towards the Achievements.
