It is really annoying that they are waiting so long to release this. I know they need to "polish" it up and all that but some of us need to know this so we know what platform we are getting the game on. If I need to update my rig or abandon it entirely and go buy a PS4 I would rather know sooner than later.
Can we get the PC specs already?

The best you can do for now is look at BF4 system requirements. Those things take time there's a lot of optimisation going on.

Probable they are still optimizing the engine, so the specs may not be definitive yet.

Mass Effect games play way better on pc than on consoles, since you can control all the companions' abilities without pausing. But other than the mods, I fail to see how playing dragon age on pc is a better experience.
I'm also waiting for the pc specs to decide the platform.
Well, there's better graphics, but that's superficial. For DAO and somewhat DA2, the controls were much better with mouse and keyboard than with a controller. Hot Bars, "Isometric" View, the ability to select and give orders to all party members at once, etc
I'll be playing DAI on PC, and since the combat and UI has gotten such a huge overall, I plan on trying both the keyboard and mouse set up and the Xbox Controller and seeing which one I like best.

lol. they won't even give a "yes" or "no" about multiplayer. Good Luck.
I do recall seeing "Check what games like Battlefield 4 require" I'm sure they will be close.

Why would you rather know sooner? The price of parts will only fall. Even if you can't afford enough of an upgrade now, that upgrade might be a lot cheaper come November.

Even a bad PC is a greater gaming experience than going console. Head up. Chest forward. Maintain your dignity.
No.
There are limits to how bad a PC can be. To the point where gaming on a console is the only recourse. My first attempt to play Origins on a PC resulted in the PC crashing every 30 minutes like clockwork, then spent 15 minutes booting up and getting back into the game only for it to crash the PC again. At that point, it was better to play the game on a console. At least until I got a newer, and better, PC.

Haven't they confirmed that the game is running on the ATI R290's? I know it's not much to go off but it's something.

I've actually found the opposite to be true in personal experience. It's kind of the reason why I'll never just own a gaming PC alone, and as long as the world allows it I'll be a Console+PC user. I've had some absolutely abysmal PC experiences, literally unplayable because of driver issues and the like. Can't say I've ever had a game not work on a console straight out of the box.

Please. Still waiting on this info before purchase. All the rest of it...talk of companions and all the other flashy bits are accessory details until we know we can actually experience it on our machines. Plot? Yes. Graphics? Yes. Companions with better romance? Yes. Not trapped in a city with the same cave/house/basement on repeat ad nauseum? No? Good. Checklist done.
That's alllllllllll we need to know...that and the ever-elusive and mysterious PC requirements.
Wondering if your machine can handle the game through the entire promo period, instead of being assured of the ability to actually play the game, makes all this stuff look like a peek at an AWESOME place that you can never visit. Because, assume worst. Bad promo to not let us know we CAN play the game on our current hardware.
Once that info is known THEN, of course we'll want to look at all the flashy bits.
Think about it. Frustration is to be expected at this point.

My good guess is the same as Battlefield 4 system requirements, but less demanding.

I've pre-ordered the PC version and still don't know if my PC will run it, and just two months to the launch date.

Talking about PC/Console gaming, I definitely prefer PC because it's a multifunctional device, allows you to enjoy the games in higher gaphics quality, and feel way more conformtable playing with keyboard/mouse...in addition to this, my PC is as my car since I enjoy modifying it and giving it a good maintenance when it's necessary.

I agree. I still haven't pre-ordered cause I don't know whether I should get it for PC or my Xbox One.

I can't play RPGs on my PC. Not sure why, I just lose interest really quickly and never play for more than a few hours. The same is not true for consoles.

Um yeah it'd be nice to know now if my PC will explode trying to run this game.
Them not giving even a ballpark is not giving me high hopes. Please no memory leaks again =/

The lack of even a rough estimate is because the game still has optimisation to go through in the coming months.

DA2 was a battling pain to get to run, even with required specs and medium specs. I am hoping this will not be the case this time around. There are still a few months left to go, but a ballpark figure would be nice until we get a hard figure.
