Its clearly some kind of mystical/thriller thing. Its perfectly clear that this is not Dragon Age, and we can easily see that its not Mass Effect either. I think they are simply jumping on the popularity train of horror themed games that have recently been going around.

Clearly, but it's a bit curious that nobody heard anything about it until these teasers were released.

We know about Mass Effect, we know about the new IP since way back. There aren't any teasers for either and there probably won't be for some time.

It can't be something they've just started working on, you don't do marketing campaigns for something that's years away.

Could be something that's merely branded as a Bioware game, but not actually one, although that's unlikely as well.

Several months ago there was an announcement that Bioware was working with Failbetter on a project.  This is likely it.

Edit:  Aaaand I see that was already brought up on the previous page

Remember Napster?

Where you'd download the music of your favourite bands... only to find out it was some crappy band spreading their music by impersonating good bands.

Its hard to say what a Bioware guy means when he says the word 'project'. (Referring to these videos not being a 'Canadian' project, or somesuch)

For all we know, it could be a USA-based marketing 'project' for a Mass Effect (or Edmonton New IP) game Canadian 'project'. Haha.

Semantics are wonderful and they also suck.

It's an RPG developed by Bioware Austin, probably called Shadow Realms. EA registered a domain name for it in March.

It might be a free to play MMO, too.

It's not related to Mass Effect.

Oh, right. The Old Republic guys, they had to have been doing something other than TOR since it's release. This would be it.

Also, I hate MMOs.

None of this is confirmed, its just very likely by now.

To me, the Woods-Watson stuff in the ARG was convincing enough. The Community Manager names for SWTOR/Austin.

And I guess it would make sense to boost the profile of that studio beyond 'hey we make cash shop items and occasionally content for a 2.5 year old MMO'.

It is all a common symbolism/coincidence or everything is related.

The relation, however, could mean anything.

I doubt Bioware does anything so obviously RGB related by coincidence anymore. Not since 2012 at least.

Getting an X-Men/Heroes vibe from these teasers.
