This place does seem to have been kind of boring these past few days. What was happening during the Destiny Beta and the following couple of days?

From ea's point of view, mediocrity has worked out pretty well (making lots of money), so why should it direct more resources in to achieving excellency?

In the grand scheme of things, 30 or 100 or even 1000 don't really matter, because the number is still small compare to the actually sales. On top of that, those that complained are most likely going to buy the next ME game anyway. So why should ea care?

Very good point. I never thought about it like that. At least not with ME3...

 

For the record, I probably won't be getting ME4, unless they do something that really wows me. Something like Destiny...

I'm normally like that. But honestly, Destiny has the potential (because it's only potential atm) to become one of the best games ever made. The fact that they spent so much on it makes me hope they are going to put everything into making this a great game. But yeah, everyone on board the hype train is going to look pretty dumb if it flops...

Since I'm on PC I share that thing about the rat's ass with you. I'm not really over-hyped by upcoming releases anymore since they destroyed Master of Orion 3. That was a bloody slaughter.

Given how pretty much every massively hyped game of 2014 has worked out so far, excluding Dork Souls II, I can't say I'm terribly excited.

The pvp in the beta was broken....Try joining as a lvl 5 character with bad equipment against a team full of lvl 8 players with the best equipment, your just going to get wrecked. The pvp has potential but they need to sort out at the matching of players because the emphasis at the moment is on being as high a level as possible and having the best gear over player skill.
