mediocrity has worked out pretty well (making lots of money), so why should it direct more resources in to achieving excellency?

 

 

I'm pretty sure this is actually a driving philosophy in EA.

 

A lot of people say EA games are crap, but I disagree. They're good.

 

But all too often that's all that they are.

 

They are good, but they fall short of being great. And this I think is even more frustrating than an outright bad game that never had a shot at greatness, and is behind a lot of the negativity from the masses.

 

Because they have the POTENTIAL to be something more, if given just a little more time, a little more polish, a little more love. They have the potential to be something amazing.

 

But EA just doesn't seem interested in making something as good as it can be. They settle for being merely good, because it's a more cost effective use of resources than making something great.

Finally a message to Bioware; look at the Destiny Beta and see some of the things you should have implemented in ME3...

I will rage quit this series if that happens.

In my experience, Drell do all the work regardless of who they are playing with.

Not going to happen. Halo isn't owned by Bungie Anymore I think and Microsoft won't release it on PC since it could hamper Xbox sales. They had a great opportunity to bring Halo on PC with the remaster trilogy, but they didn't do so. Hence, I don't expect them doing this ever. Only hope is to get a good Xbox 360 emulator.

Mass Effect(including the MP) is totally different from the yet to be released Destiny(....the angel I don't know) if only for the fact that one is a TPS while the other is FPS. I really hope Bioware works hard to retain and fine tune whatever made ME3MP so unique.

I'm comparing it because it would be nice for ME4 to implement some of the things Destiny have done. Just an opinion I have, since horde mode is so NOT unique... 

 

I post here because I've played all three games in the series and I really hope the next one is going to be a success. It's safe to say I'm invested in the series, but I can only hope ME4 isn't going to be a letdown.

 

I also still post here because it's fun to see the occasional nerd rage or idiot doing what he does best!
