Female dwarf. Simply because I haven't seen one since Sigrun.

Human, female, rogue. As girly, sarcastic, and gorgeous as I can make her. She's essentially going to be Regina George or Alison DiLaurentis, and I'm so psyched.

Likely either a human or elf, female, rogue.

My first Inquisitor will be a Male Elf Mage. I've got a lot of this playthrough planned already, he's definitely gonna romance Iron Bull and is completely pro-mage (I'll probably use Rift Mage specialization as well). I think the elves are really interesting but I chose all of that because I was a Dwarf Warrior in Origins, Human Rogue in 2 and then an Elf Mage in Inquisition. Kind of spreads things out a bit and makes playthroughs more diverse, and magic looks really good in Inquisition especially. Going by the DA2 dialogue system. he'll be fairly diplomatic and sometimes sarcastic!

I plan on rolling a character based on Harry Dresden. Not early Dresden, later Dresden.
Brilliant.
Pre- or post- Winter Mantle?

Pre- or post- Winter Mantle?
Post. Too many possibilities with the winter skill tree. Fire staff for demonfire (if I'm rolling Lash in his head), spirit staff for angelfire if I go that route. Spell wisp to represent Bob if available. Long trench style coat. Enchanted ring(s). Arcane shield for the shield bracelet. If I can have a giant dog like thing to use as a mount I will call him Mouse.

I'm a goody two-shoes (where does this phrase come from?) on my first play through of everything. Male, Human, Warrior, because that's what I've always done and might as well keep the tradition alive.

Probably an evil mage.
Because every time I play a spellcaster I have to be evil, because all the best spellcasters are evil.

The fact that Elminster himself turns Edwin into a woman (after Edwin provokes an argument) would seem to disprove your thesis ![]()

Sure, but if you were to look at it from Edwin's point of view (the only view that matters) Edwin is the greatest most genius wizard in existence.

That was an improvement so Edwin wins (or should I say, Edwina wins).

What gender, race, and class is your Inquisitor going to be on your first run?
female elf mage or rogue

Elven Mage. Every 1st playthrough my character has been a mage. Although I am tempted to pick a "templar" like character and romance dorain... see how that plays out.

Femaie Dwarf Rogue. I am the 1%!
(Well, it was probably less than that in DAO, but maybe we'll have a surge of popularity this time?)

I have 6 Inquisitors planned. I haven't definitely decided on which is first, but I'm leaning towards the Male Qunari Knight Enchanter.
With a name of "Darth," black robes, lightsabers arcane blades, and lightning powers, he will be walking Star Wars Easter Egg.

In both DAO and DA2 I first went with a Male Human Warrior, Sword and Board. ME series Male Vanguard first time through. Most other RPGs Male Warrior or Rogue. But for DAI I just can't pass up playing a Female Qunari Mage. Being a mage is just too damn fun in DA, and to be a female Qunari on top of it just seems like it will make for some great moments. Plus Alix's voice work so far seems amazing and since Jennifer Hale and Jo Wyatt were so fantastic in ME and DA2, respectively, I can't pass up a female lead for the my first go around.

Female Qunari is not even in question. I mean, I've at least seen every combination or race-sex in the series so far... Except that one. It's like a shiny Pokemon, it's rare as hell and pretty special feeling because of it. Class however, I'm still undecided. I am definitely leaning towards mage (female Qunari Vashoth unbound-mage is about as rare and unique as you can get), but future videos showing rogue or warrior gameplay could still sway me.

Human male inquisitor, Mage class. Going to spread the inquisition by force building Military keeps only and purging villages of heretics. (Classic inquisitor) Oh and I guess save the world too.
