Oh, I'm not complaining. Some of my favourite romance arcs have been the ones where I deliberately made it end badly 
. (My Warden breaking up with Alistair then doing the Ultimate Sacrifice, Hawke romancing Sebastian and then sparing Anders ...) I'm just curious to see if the pattern continues.
Of course, for all we know Inquisition ends with the Warden and Hawke being returned to their various loved ones. But I'd be somewhat surprised.
Well, you can walk through the mirror with Morrigan so that sounds like a happily ever after to me. Also, can't you run away with Leliana to Orlais and live happily ever after?

Yeah I agree I though my Warden and Hawke got their happily ever after but nope apparently

Wait... why doesn't Hawke get a happy ending? Yes, s/he disappeared. But Cassandra never asks about the LI(and Varric comments that the LI is the only one to stay with Hawke after everyone else leaves). Perhaps the LI "disappeared" with Hawke?
If it's written well and not because a writer just wanted to put in shallow shock value.

I guess it's possible, but I don't think it's likely. Either way, Leliana implies at the end of DA2 that the Warden and Hawke may have both disappeared for the same reason, and I doubt that they're frolicking on a beach somewhere. (Of course, Leliana may not know what she's talking about. Or maybe the Warden and Hawke abandoned their love interests and eloped together ...)

I would be suprised if they made a happy ever after but I think someone on intense sugar rush would have to do it
I fully expect to come across a lone, glowy, overly angsty elf charging across the country-side screaming, "Hawke!" with the same single-minded, overly obsessive determination he showed in going after Denarius.
If I don't see that ... I will be disappoint.

Wait, I don't remember my Warden disappearing? Maybe it's been so long I just don't remember, but wasn't there an outcome in Origins where a female Warden could be Queen alongside Alistair? And Zev and I walked off together into the sunset, so to speak, at the end of DA:O, and the epilogue after Awakenings had him assassinating some noblewoman for me that was causing me trouble...and in DA2 if the scene had actually imported correctly (which is didn't) he is supposed to respond to Isabella's flirting by saying his current lover (my Warden) is a dangerous woman.
Enough of you are saying it, that I'm sure it's true...I did block out most of DA2 as a traumatic experience, so maybe it gets mentioned somewhere in there and I just don't know it?

All wardens and Hawkes disappear a few years after the events they were involved in. What happened to them it's open to speculation, something Flemeth had her hand in no doubt.

It's mentioned in the final moments of DA2, when Leliana and Cassandra are talking to each other. The Warden and Hawke "disappeared" at some point before 9:40. There is no official mention of the Warden anywhere(unless Zevran or Alistair mention him/her) after Witch Hunt, the Warden just disappears. If the Warden romanced Alistair, and Alistair is king, it's doubtful they stayed together. Same if the Warden romanced Leliana, as she indicates no knowledge of where the Warden is. Zevran theoretically could have "disappeared" with the Warden(like every Hawke LI, save for Sebastian) but it's unknown.
The only romance of the Warden's that is likely to be "happy", in my mind, is Morrigan. Because, again, there's no mention of him by anyone after 9:33(when he could go through the Eluvian with her).
