Wait, Bioware dared to make characters you couldn't fab to?
I'm so sorry OP
f*p, not fab.

Agreed. It's bizzare that the importance of realism is always emphasized in storytelling but for some reason one of the most real things of all, X is more attractive than Y, just kind of flies out the window sometimes.

She's back! Alistair!
I prefer Origins too, but you know what? I'm going to #DealWithIt
I think that's my new motto.
It's just thin. Morrigan's neck is even worse, and she's human.
Women in DAI appear to just have really thin necks by default. Damn giraffes everywhere.
This is due to a genetic mutation that allows them to reach food, for you see in Orlais nobles do not eat with their hands because they do not wish to dirty them and perhaps out of the belief that they are too good to eat like us common folk. Instead, they extend their neck and eat the food directly off their plates, if not for this ability the nobles would be unable to reach their food and would have starved long ago.
Edit:

Orlesian Fact #2!
The reason all of the characters in Dragon Age Inquisition have angled faces is from sleeping while wearing masks! Eventually the face moulds itself to the inside of the mask, making everyone's face look like a wedge of cheese!
I'm an Elf lover. I'm not sure why some devs want to make them fugly for the sake of being different. I love LOTR Elves the most. The universe that make elves look bad are Witchers and Dragon Age too.

Orlais is a strange place with odd, but neat, customs.
On the issue of the elves being hot: I preferred the Dragon Age 2 models because of the cute big pupils that they had, but I always thought that they could stand to gain a few pounds. I was a tad bit disheartened to see that the elves are going to look more human in Inquisition, but I still find them attractive. I do hope that for Dragon Age 4 the elves will be a merging of Origins and 2 in the sense that they gain some weight and they get their big pupils back, but I can't really complain as long as they have sharp ears. ![]()
In Thedas Humans find the Elves hotter than other humans. We hear this in several scenes in the game. But its not showing.
Precisely. Though it doesn't surprise me that Isabella would do an pansy little elf like Ferris who looks like he hasn't reached puberty yet.
Pretty elves in TES isn't lore friendly. And I'm unfortunately a stickler for that type of ****. But hey it's your game; mod away. I'd be tempted to use those mods myself if I were gaming on the master race platform.
I'm sure the humans who married Elves thought they were pretty. ![]()
Also Barenziah from Daggerfall says hello.
Yeah... she even got taken advantage of by a dirty old man, who got her pregnant, and then got his "healer" to knock her out and abort it. Funfunfun.
Honestly, I thought the DA2 Elves were more attractive than the DA.O ones. I really liked the Redesign, as it gave them a generally younger and unique look, which I as a young Person liked more than simply "Humans with pointy Ears" from DA:O.
Although I have to say, that DA:I seems to be again quite good, but that is just me being a Graphicswh*re.

I am now slightly concerned.

It is also theorized that within less than half a dozen generations, Orlesian faces will have adapted so well to their mask that they can just snap them on (patent pending).

Fenris is hot. I love those long muscles and the fay, slender look. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder ![]()

To be fair that man was a time and space warping demigod with the soul of a dragon who happened to be the avatar of the trickster god that created the world. I think it's fair to assume that Barenziah's panties dropped consensually.

Edit:
Wouldn't all that neck exercise make their necks thick
Elves in TES are designed to be not like humans. They are designed to be different and to be alien-ish, in terms of looks and culture.
As for DA:I elves, I will say that they look like Gollum. They are too thin and look stretched. The face looks fine but their body looks like it has become spaghettified and anorexic.
I honestly prefer DA:O elf designs. They look attractive but their bodies don't look so skeletally thin.
As others have said the TES are supposed to be strange and alien, like the Bosmer eat each other because they wont eat plants and the Altmer are basically if Tolkien-esque elves were Nazis.
DA elves aren't supposed to be alien, they are humans with pointy ears, and should stay like that.
And while he was posting they all laughed at ManGiraffeDog.WHAT THE HELL IS THAT
WHAT IS THAT

Wow. She looks really thin. Seems like she has been drained or something.
