Yep, like the title, this forum is dedicated to your most humourous death. My arcan blood mage fought through 1000's of darkspawn, humans, beasts, and anything thrown his way untill he fought the archdemon. however the arch demon was not his greatest enemy... it was himself. he singlehandedly shot himself with a ballista dying instantly. w00t, hero of the human race here just shot himself in the final battle against ancient evil, good job. Anyways, what is yours?

I wiped the party by casting a glyph of repulsion, and then casting a glyph of paralysis on the yellow enemy that made it through my repulsive glyph.



They had archers standing by.

But in all seriousness... I was on my blood mage, and blew up 3/4 of my party with a fireball.

I killed myself with a ballista my first run through the Tower of Ishal. Cleared that floor of Darkspawn, then stood right in front of it going all "oooo... what's this do?" Next thing I know, *boom* and "Your Journey Ends."

I snuck through an entire level of the Circle tower as a rogue, only to get screwed over by an invisible trap before the door and ended up aggro'ing the entire floor without my party (who were waiting at the entrance on hold)

I decided I wanted her to die quick so I activated spell might and casted every Primal AOE spell on her.







It was that day that I discovered what the spell: "Storm Of The Century" was.

I've made it a priority to avoid area of effect spells.



The AI has a severe case of "Kid in a Candy Shop" ("Mage in a Lyrium Mine"?) when it comes to casting powerful AoEs (And no, I don't put them in my tactics).



Also, getting gang raped by wolves with "Overwhelm" leads to lots of shouting and cursing.

The first time I fought Flemeth, she changed into the dragon and it was the first time I'd seen one, so I just stared at the screen with my mouth open and then she breathed fire on me and stomped on Alistair (the rest of my party died too). Har.

LOL, Archdemon does this little trick too. I was pissed but at least it was at the beginning so I just reloaded Now I look up to see where the dang thing is going to land.

Oh and I was low on health and had just switched my "Tainted Blade" to where my healing poultice slot was and bam, tainted my blade and died, doh!

Not exactly a death, but certainly an most awkward situation...

During the final assault my human noble warrior got a deathblow on an ogre and I wanted to grab some nice screenshots, so I hit pause and opened my inventory to take off my helmet.
When I unpaused the game I realized my character wasn't moving. In fact no one was moving, at all...my whole party was frozen in time.

I suppose that's one way of 'stopping' the blight. You don't have to prevent what never comes to pass, right?

This. My journey ended before it even began. :/

I did that, too, only Alistair was still standing so it wasn't the end... yeah. Embaressingly enough, I later shot myself with a different ballista somewhere else. It wasn't the one at the final battle - I never even found that one the first time. I don't remember which it was.

The worst thing, however, was probably trying out the Tainted Blade ability in camp to see how much damage it added, and then wandering away to do something else and forgetting I had it activated. So he bled to death by the fireside. Not a very heroic ending, surely.

There was also one time in the Deep Roads where Alistair and Wynne were down, and I was trying to win a fight with my character and Zevran. It was going all right, until they both managed to get caught in traps that I had earlier found and failed to disarm at the same time, after which the fight was soon over.
