I thought this was gonna be a thread about players who don't romance. Whatever. I just hope that at least one of the women are loose so that my pc can get some no strings fun time like with Morrigan and Isabella. Aside from the inevitable whorehouse of course.

 

Too bad the devs can't read my mind and create a character that any pc of mine can conceivably romance. *le sigh* Oh well. I wonder what the new brothel name will be. "The Velvet Alley"? Sounds good to me.

Iron Bull is Ben-Hassrath if I recall correctly. The Qun would treat the elves better, but it would also destroy elven traditions. So with him there is a ideological conflict.

Solas may be the only option. I have to meet him before deciding if my inquisitor can be bi, otherwise I'll wait to make a kossith inquisitor and romance Josephine who is quite fine.

I'm either starting with a male human mage or a female Dalish mage.    The former may have some issues with Cassandra but by the sound of it I think he will get on famously with Josephine, so no problem there.  Then again, since he will probably be bisexual, he could even end up with Dorian.    The reason I would go with a human inquisitor rather than an elf is because of the lack of a female elf option for him.

 

The Dalish is more of a problem.  Had she been a city elf I think I could have been more flexible but I really feel that a Dalish would have cultural objections to romancing anything other than an elf.   A fling might be a different matter but she is not that sort of girl.    It would be life partner or nothing and looking ahead, if they were to have children, she'd want them to be elves.   So if Solas is not a LI then at present I think she will run solo so far as sexual encounters are concerned.   If it seems possible to have a very good platonic friendship with someone, then that might be a different matter.   I'm hoping it is possible to hug our friends as well as our lovers.   However, I don't want to say never with regard to romance because my characters sometimes do seem to take on a life of their own and things can develop in a way that I never anticipated before I started the game.   After all I thought I would love romancing Anders after Awakening but then in DA2 I never went that far with him and he was the only character that I did not fully romance.

It seems that since Sera is gay, my male!Dalish who wants to gave a family and his own elven children, will be forever alone XD I could make him female but that would be just either a second Mahariel or a second Velanna
Though I am also tempted to romance Cassandra. I hope elves are again shorter than humans and such a couple would be both frustrating and adorable. Like mage!HawkexFenris
But that would make two of my Inquisitors Cassandra's partners and I don't like repeating LIs. Except Lelianna, she deserves at least one happy end

There are two love interests who are race gated for "story reasons". They have yet to announce who it is.

Thanks. Probably not gonna be Iron Bull though since he bangs everything. Has Varric been confirmed to not be a romance? I imagine he might only go for dwarves.

Iron Bull is confirmed to be available to all. The last two LIs are not announced yet, and the race gated ones could be in those already announced.

My dalish elf female will be single for sure, the only hope, may be Solas personality will make her to melt a bit.
