Have just installed ME1 and was going to start a new game+ with an savefile(the game finds the latest savefiles), but the menu for the new game+ dosnt appear :(

Anyone here know how to get it back after an reinstallation?

As I recall there is no new game + menu option for ME1. Instead, you just select the new game option from the main menu, then when you get to character creation you can select the character you want to import.

Start a New Game. The next screen should give you a choice to start a new career or select an existing career.

. I see. You tap the resume button. Then you have to refight Saren again. Instead of the resumebutton. Pick the new game button. And then you pick ; Load an existing career.

Forget the newgame+. You read it somewhere in the threads. It is symply this : you import a normalgameplaycharacter into anew game and start on hardcore difficulty. You will not be able to create a new face. But you will import the already gained expierencepoints. You will also start at level 45 plus or minus. And then you can level up to 60 .

Actually you can play on any unlocked difficulty and you will start at the level you finished the previous game with said character at.   You  keep your credits and equipment except grenade upgrades, medigel upgrades, and licenses.  There are some issues with omnitools not importing just right for  npcs, IIRC.

Note that you will have to change the difficulty after you start the game, but you can do so once you get control on the Normandy.

Also you don't have to refight the final battle.
