I'm not saying ME2's soundtrack was awful by any means, just below ME1 and ME3.

Doh hoh ho.

No. Just no.

I think they need someone new. It's starting to sound like the same thing to me.

I think they need someone new. It's starting to sound like the same thing to me.

But Mass Effect(like Zelda, MGS or even Star Wars & Star Trek for example)... has a dinstinct, iconic musical sound/style, imo you can't really dievate from that too much. That's why i think the likes of Jasper Kid and or in particular Jon Hallur Haraldsson would be great additions as they would add something a bit different(they're new & highly talented composers imo. They've both made make some truly wonderful video games scores, the kind that actually adds to the game and makes them better)yet still keep the musical escense/soundscape of the series relatively unchanged. Which for such a long runnning series you need that continuity, its important to the universe imo.

If Jack Wall is the main composer I would be happy, he did a good job on ME1 and even better on ME2.

But Mansell was good too on ME3, Leaving Earth is an awesome track.

McCann would be a great composer for Mass Effect 4 too, he has worked on Xcom and Deus Ex, he has this "space feel" in his music.

Depending how dense the atmosphere in the next ME is supposed to be, Alexey Omelchuk would also fit as composer.

His tracks really give S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call or Pripyat and the METRO series soul.

Edit: Apparently he only did the music for CoP, the music for the other two Stalker games was from Frey Vladimir.

Yeah, it seemed odd that Jack Wall was not in ME3. Despite having multiple soundtracks from ME1 and ME2.

Kinda like how Drew Karpyshyn was not involved with the story in ME3 after writing the first two...hmm..coincidence? I think not.
