What's up with that?
seems brown to me
ekk Morrigans neck looks gross
If you look at her left eye, you can see it's blue. If that's the official colour...well, that's a totaly different story.
ekk Morrigans neck looks gross
I don't think it looks significantly different from Cassandra's neck, to be honest. It's just more pronounced with Morrigan due to the way she's facing.
If it's an official poster, they definitely need to change it, says its releasing in October
No, it's one of the PC Gamer covers. That looks like a fanmade poster to me, so I'm guessing its not a refined image?
They had a bug with the character's eye colours a while ago that seemed to make them all the wrong colours. I think Vivienne's eyes are meant to be brown in game, although I am not a dev (nor do I play one on TV.)
I dunno why, but Vivienne looks a little like Barbara Streisand in that pic. Anyone else seeing it?
Can we get an update on how they look at the moment? The Morrigan in that poster looks quite different from the Morrigan we saw in the unveiling video. Varric and Cassandra, now that I'm replaying DA2, also look very different from their previous game counterparts, Varric especially. It's jarring!
I think Vivienne will be having blue eyes in the final build. Since it seemed that way in one of the trailers and in the cover and the other pictures were probably bugged (brown eyes bug on everyone, was pointed out by Mike Laidlaw I think (?) )
I wouldn't use this poster as an example for what it will be, but they look grey to me in it, which I personally think would be cool.
The human females in Thedas seems to have mutated into long necked beings.
Did the Veil Tear bring about a flood of giraffe and flamingo genes or something ?
Also why does Vivienne look like a blue-eyed panda ? Those eye shadows, they have to go. It makes her look like she has not slept for ages.
They should just give her heterochromia. Everybody loses. I mean wins.
No, it's one of the PC Gamer covers.
Well mage eyes are known to change color time to time
They work with what they get from the game companies. Yes, outdated images aren't flattering but it's not like PC Gamer can produce up-to-date images themselves. Then PC Gamer really needs to get their act together. Outdated images and subpar editting skills aren't flattering. They can do better.
Maybe she's North African and has violet eyes.
She could even have blond hair to go with it.

What BS is this? What kind of..? Either you are trolling or you have issues.

Pictured: Blacks with natural blonde hair - the blond Melanesians of the Solomon Islands, where they make up ~25% of the population.
EDIT: The gene responsible for their blond hair is completely separate to the one that can give Indo-Europeans blond hair.
Pictured: Gary Dourdan, African-American actor of CSI fame with natural blue/grey eyes.
Is it really so ridiculous to have a black character with grey eyes? Or blond hair?
Pretty sure Vivienne's eyes are brown. Her character profile shows her eyes as being brown.

I was happy to find out she was a black character. I'm not hyped about the "blue eyes" thing at all.
Black people can have blue eyes. In fact I think it looks better on them than anyone else. It's just rare for them to have them but it's still possible. Doesn't make them any less black...
What BS is this? What kind of..? Either you are trolling or....oh my god....
You have issues.
Well there are black people with blond hair. The melanesian people naturally have blond hair. So I don't think he has issues for suggesting that.
But people should just leave Vivienne's appearance alone. She's fine as she is. I don't even know why there's even controversy.
I think Vivi's eyes are fine either way. If her eyes are gray or blue I hope it stays, it looks striking. I'm disappointed that they gave her a boring buzz cut instead of a cool hairstyle underneath the horns, but a different eye color would make her look more interesting/unique to me. I'm not sure why there's a controversy though, black people have a variety of eye colors.
