Widow was more than enough for the Reaper baby on that particular playthrough. If my Shepard is not that damaging I usually take Thane and Miranda
I always bring Tali and Legion to the final fight. With there attack drones they keep the collectors of my back for the most part, so I can focus my attention on the reaper.

Final run-Garrus and Miri with me cuz of warp and overload.
Leave the rest to defend.
My Legion in the ducts, Garrus leading the away teams (all of them), Samara doing biotics, Mordin leading the crew back to the ship has always worked, and I've taken different folks with me to kill the reaper, though it's usually Thane and someone else. So now you have two options that work. Because with everyone loyal all of the above members have worked for me.

Now I'm going to have to try a run taking Legion with me for that final fight. Thane and Legion - that works for me.
