That would be nice, but only after Bioware finally releases Mass Effect 3 - Retconned Edition.
I'm fairly sure that'll be released right after you get over the ending.
In all seriousness, I'd buy it. There's been rumors, but I would buy the trilogy again in a heartbeat.

Other things that would be great if they release a remastered trilogy...
A uniform Action bar across all 3 games so the interface would not change between the three games.
A follow the white rabbit feature that can be enabled or disabled.
Basically this would be a behind the scenes peek with interviews or developer notes that you could view at certain places.
Mod Support: -- Including but not limited to
To allow for textures to be replaced, for example the rocket launcher could fire bunnies or rainbow farting unicorns at the enemy
the possibilities would be endless.
Sound track / Sound effect updates/upgrades
Addition/Modification of weaponry

Can't do that without retconning ME1 and ME2 too.
ME2 retconned ME and ME3 retconned ME2 and ME. Retcon is not only changing parts of the story in my book, it's adding more info and lore to the worlds. Retconning isn't always a bad thing.

I'd buy it, if only because the Remastered edition would finally give us a GOTY edition for ME3 with all the DLC included, and because it would give me another opportunity to Platinum ME2 and ME3.

By retconning ME2 I mean delete it entirely.
It's not a bad game, but it has no place in the Mass Effect story. Unless you wanna call it Mass Effect: Dr Phil Edition (no Reapers included)

No, I didn't buy a ONE to play 360 games, but then it would be nice not to have to keep a 360 console JUST to play ME....
This is why you buy a PC

But I loved ME2... I started the series there on PS3 since we couldn't play ME1 back then.

Have got it on PC, but sometimes just prefer playing it on console for the convenience

Well, that explains.
It's not a bad game, but within the trilogy it's nothing more than an elaborate sidequest which does nothing to advance the main plot. You could delete the game entirely and nothing would change in ME3, besides missing out on some squadmates.

I had Mass Effect 1 later on PS3 and yet, I feel like ME2 is the stronger game in many ways. Even if people want to deny its existence, I believe it's an essential part of the lore as it expands on it and adds so much more volume to everything.

Albeit some pretty great squad mates!

Do it, do it, do it Bioware ![]()
Seriously I want to play all the trilogy on PS4 with 60 FPS 1080p and all the DLC, and if you want to tweak something with the gameplay ou graphics do it too.
It would be a great thing to release this before Mass Effect "4" to grab some new fans.

This remastering would really need to be something special to get me to fork over more money. It has to be more than just a prettier version of the same games that I already have. I've already put a lot of money into this trilogy on my 360, so it has to have something new and exciting.

Yeah, I'd buy it. I'm a sucker for these kind of things. I already intend on purchasing Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition.

I would certainly shell out some cash to buy it. I still tend to lean to ME1 as my favorite of the series, so seeing upgraded visuals would be most awesome. I'm still amazed at the following ME2 has. For me, BioWare just took too much out of ME1 when it developed ME2:
1.0) Immersion - the stupid loading screens; i.e: Mission Complete
- Really? I loved how the ME1 loading screens, while still present, had more of an immersive quality (the Normandy speeding across the screen), rather than a picture of the illusive man or a goofy computer screen with hot coffee nearby.
Another one was getting on / off the SR1. I loved going through the "Decontamination" chamber and the announcement overhead that regarding ship command. These are elements of loading, hidden through genius mechanism which tried not to break the immersion. It's true the elevator rides on the Citadel and other locations were long, but I didn't mind them at all. They had sufficient dialog or news stories which helped pass the time.
2.0) System exploration - Being in a new part of the ME Universe, really wish we had the capability to explore the Terminus system planets in a "Mako-like" device (sorry Hammerhead). But it is probably asking the 360 and PS3 too much to have planetary exploration and impressively detailed cities like ME2 and ME3 provided.
3.0) Inventory - Yes...this was indeed a clunky system for sure. BUT, I loved it. So much could have been done to improve the inventory than just neutering it like they did in ME2. I had a few ideas of my own on how to fix it, but another time. I love the "Crap" I captured and selling it back to gain better Spectre-level weaponry.
4.0) Configuration - For both the weapons, and armor, I loved how I controlled what my team had; the multiple types of Armor, the ability to mix/match items in my inventory as components of both mine - and squads - armor (and guns) was spectacular. ME3 attempted to fix it, but not to the degree or preference I liked.
5.0) Hard-SciFi - From ME1, there seemed to be a key design feel of "realism": for example: the description of why there were no more "bullets" and the weapons in ME1 produced projectiles internally seem presented in a "it could happen" sort of way (even if unlikely). The weapons in ME1 had "upgrades" or tangible changes made to a weapon. The inclusion of "Powers" in ME2 and ME3 just didn't sit well with me; it's nothing more than an attempt to add some medieval fantasy to a projectile weapon (I'm not a wizard and spell kind of guy). I will admit the logic/realism behind the "Thermal Clips (TC)" seems logical and very realistic, BioWare did have a hard time not referencing "ammo" in many cut scenes, but maybe this was intentional. For me personally, I thought the lack of a "consumable item to maintain shooting" was a welcomed change from the COD or other weapons-based game. The "overheating" was a nice factor and the M-7 Lancer is my weapon of choice in my ME3 play through).
My apologies in taking the thread off track, but either way, I'd love for a ME Trilogy Re-mastered edition. But, I don't think I'll be getting rid of my X360 anytime soon. ![]()

ME1 needs it badly less of an argument for ME2 although playing 3 and going back to 2 might sway people to say the opposite when it comes to combat.
