I saw one permutation of the mass effect ending on friday, I didn't mind. However, I think it is messed up that people come on the Bioware forum and post spoilers, potentially spoiling the game for those who didn't want them.

Actually, and no this isn't wishful thinking, if you analyze the spoiler after the initial shock, you see that there are quite a few things that aren't compatible with what we know now from dev statements, ME1, and the laws of physics.. Not going to go into them as it would itself be a spoiler, but this "Kewlstein" is clearly making this up as he goes along. Like the people on the GameFAQs forums that claimed the ending was identical to the ending of Kingdom Hearts.

I too thought of this, but what worries me is the possibility that Protheans evolved.

I think and hope that they aren't true, i only glanced the first sentence by mistake but i think its fake just because its a copypasta, if it was real then they would have atleast written it different each time and not just copy paste

Since this so called spoiler has already been revealed, I'll go ahead and post my theory (which I've had for a while now).



The Collectors are like the Zerg, They were not originally prothean, and have been around longer than the Protheans have. But they did assimilate protheans, thus the remaining protheans became collectors, just as the humans (and other races) will unless Shepard stops them.



Don't bother telling me if I'm right, I'm treating every "fact" here presented as speculation anyway until I play it myself.
