I've only done one playthrough which I'm keeping as my main:
Lorik Aeducan - Hardened Alistair and Anora ruled jointly, Loghain survived, Lorik did Morrigan's Ritual
I think my Warden left with Zevran at the end to rebuild the Wardens, but I'm not entirely sure.
Alistair rules in all.
Elyndra Cousland: Queen
Neria Surana: Chancellor and Mistress
Solena Amell: Chancellor and Mistress
Theron Mahariel: remained with the Wardens
Kalliana Tabris: Dead by Ultimate Sacrifice
Alistair sole ruler because Anora refused to remake Ferelden into a second Imperium.
I've always had Alistair hardened and king solo and Male Mage who romanced Morrigan and did the Dark Ritual, eventually becoming a warden commander before disappearing with Morrigan.
I've also had a sub DAO plot with a female Cosuland marrying a hardened Alistair (who took the Dark Ritual) and ruling together forever.
I don't know which one I'd like to import to INquisition first.
I've always been interested in making a variation to my first royal succession, adding Anora into the mix with the hardened Alistair but I felt that although Anora was a great ruler, she didn't have the heart that Alistair had, who eventually became an epic ruler anyway. + I didn't like how she acted to be honest. I know it's becuase she's ambitious and she truly is her father's daughter, but I personally didn't like that. Also I always thoguht the idea of marrying Anora to Alistair who is the brother of Cailan was just plain bizarre, sure politically they might've been stronger but I think my Hardened Alistair is doing alright solo or at least with the woman he loves.
Never have I ever had Anora rule alone or with a Prince Consort or whatever. I'm too in love with Alistair to do that. lol
As far as my import games go:
Orian Tabris: Hardened Alistair marries Anora.
Selena Amell: Hardened Alistair rules alone, with Selena as his paramour. Anora locked up in tower.
Vinaiya Mahariel: Hardened Alistair sacrificed himself to kill the Archdemon. Anora remains queen.
Rienna Cousland: Hardened Alistair married Rienna, with her as queen-consort.
My Canon is Anora and Warden Prince-Consort.
Otherwise Alistair and Warden Chancellor pulling the strings.
Hardened Alistair married to Anora and Logain still lives.
The Warden did the dark ritual and then followed Morrigan through the Eluvian.
I've done most of the possible permutations, but Loghain always dies, Alistair is either King solo, King with Anora as Queen (poor Alistair), King with FHN as Queen, or Warden. I've never executed Alistair, or had the MHN marry Anora. Alistair or Warden usually does the Dark Ritual.
This reminds me need to finish my awakening playthrough where my male noble marries the quene, and Alister dies.
And the queen father's gave himself to the archdemon.
David Gaider said some time ago that Alistair has no children, unless he fathered the OGB. So you're completely right about the succession crisis.
Perhaps that will be the subject of a future game. It's not really possible to give Ferelden a stable, long-term solution.
Even then it won't matter. The OGB is presumably a mage who cannot inherit and it's unlikely people would know it's Alistair's child in any case. And if the Hero Of Ferelden is the father, made himself king and had a child with Morrigan (OGB or mortal), the exact same problems remain.
I definitely agree that a long term solution for Ferelden politically isn't really possible. It'll be interesting if that enviable succession crisis is a big part of a future game or merely a background event.

In canon playthrough? Alistair and Anora rule jointly.
ive done every outcome but my cannon is Male Cousland Weds Anora and Aliistair remains a warden.
I`ve done a playthrough for each origin:
Female Cousland - Alistair is king with the warden as queen (canon)
Female Amell - Anora is queen and Alistair remains a warden
Female Tabris - Anora is queen and Alistair becomes a drunk
Male Mahariel - Alistair and Anora rule together
Female Aeducan - Anora is queen and Alistair remains a warden
Male Brosca - Alistair and Anora rule together (Loghain is spared and becomes a warden)
Alistair as king. kick Anora to the curb.

My male cousland married Anora, she is just so awesome.
The save I'll import into the keep for use on my first playthrough of Inquisition will have a hardened Alistair ruling jointly with Anora. My warden won't be chansellor.

Mahariel - unhardened King Alistair, she left with Zevran
Amell - hardened King Alistair (he stuck himself on the throne), stayed on as his chancellor and mistress

Aedan Cousland - Loghain executed by Alistair; Alistair remained with the Wardens; Aedan made Teyrn of Gwaren and married Anora to rule alongside her as Prince-Consort; Aedan fulfilled Morrigan's Dark Ritual.
Solona Amell - Loghain executed by Solona; (hardened) Alistair and Anora ruling jointly; Solona died while killing Urthemiel.
Cristiel Mahariel - Loghain recruited into Grey Wardens and sacrificed to kill Urthemiel; (hardened) Alistair and Anora ruling together; Cristiel requested lands for the Dalish to settle.
Faren Brosca - Anora rules alone; Alistair executed to ensure Anora's position; Loghain recruited into Grey Wardens; Loghain forced to fulfill Morrigan's Dark Ritual; Faren killed Urthemiel and was named Teyrn of Gwaren.
Alyria Tabris - (hardened) Alistair rules alone; Loghain executed by Alistair; Anora imprisoned to ensure Alistair's position; Alyria died while killing Urthemiel.
Duran Aeducan - Loghain executed by Alistair; (hardened) Alistair and Anora ruling jointly; Duran fulfilled Morrigan's Dark Ritual; Duran killed Urthemiel and requested Fereldan military aid against the darkspawn in the Deep Roads.
I consider Aedan to be my "canon," and I think Faren's bloodbath through Fereldan would make for an interesting background. I expect at least three playthroughs in DAI, but haven't decided yet which of the other four above scenarios will form the background for that run.
In my personal canon Alistair is hardened and wed to Anora, and they rule jointly. The Warden (male Cousland) was appointed Chancellor of Ferelden.
