GI sucks. It is one of the first characters I'd throw out the airlock if I could. GI is a bigger abomination than incendiary reegar.
Volus are better support kits than GI.

Of course, he can "support" teammates by killing waves of enemies, that's surely a way of support I guess.

Obviously. In addition to proxy mine's debuff and crowd control abilities, you can use Hunter Mode to inform team mates where enemy spawns are, and be a stealth medic.
Lamer than a Volus, IMO.

He can disappear, see through walls, is extremely fast, can debuff and detonate, makes any weapon better. He's like a super hero...what are you even talking.

I don't always play GI but when I do it's with duration cloak and slowing proximity mine.
.....Also no hunter mode as it makes you way too squishy to support your team.

That's true...but Hunter Mode's recharge speed and power damage bonus are awesome for the GI. I take the points out of Networked AI for it.
