Are there any specific design consideration I should follow to ensure an area is stable for a mac user.

Currently one area in my mod is causing a crash to desktop but I cannot see a reason for this and I cannot replicate the fault. The player is a mac user so I wonder if there may be something about the area which is causing this due to the machine.

Just one path to follow but if there are some particular issues then this may be a good fix for me.

Just a guess, but how long is the area's resource name?

It's been speculated, but I don't know if anyone has tested it well enough to confirm it.

As it turns out the tag is 04_01 so that should not be the issue :(

I will keep trying.

Not the tag, the resource name.  The name that the actual area file has.

I'm with you,

04_a_01_hope_cove

There are longer names than this on areas already visited.

02_a_09_warrens_upper_0

That's the longest I can find and that one loaded okay for Karen. I have no on enter scripts but might it be something in the module properties.

I will have a fish around.

That's well below the 32 characters that I've heard might be a limit, so I guess that's a dead end.

I have a mac and am willing to try to replicate the problem.  What module?
