Back in the old days, PUGs didn't dishonor Krogan Martial Tradition with their pathetic Lolreegars.

Too damn right. And don't even think about playing Bronze with a character lower than level 10.

Yeah but I did not intend to join them in the 1st place, I searched for Gold and the game put me in a Silver lobby, just like other times I searched for Plat and ended up in Bronze GIP, I guess those are signs that we'll have an official random difficulty mode in ME4.

Back in my day, wave seven (and earlier) wipes on Bronze were commonplace. Soloing Bronze was considered an act that could only be completed by a highly skilled player.
Back in my day, having a low N7 would get you kicked from Silver.
Back in my day, challenges were restricted to Weekend Operations.
Back in my day, the N7 Crusader, Eagle, Valiant, Hurricane and Valkyrie were obtained only with commendation packs.
Back in my day, you could actually enter the closed-off room in Firebase Glacier (the one that has a failed medi-gel experiment in single player).
Back in my day, the geth didn't have bombers and were considered the easiest faction to defeat.
Back in my day, there was no such thing as Cerberus dragoons.
Back in my day, permanent gear didn't exist.
Back in my day, the only map hazards you had to worry about were glitch related.

You can still relive those categories of experience if you have access to a WiiU....

Things I didn't know when I started playing.
- no clue about biotic explosions.
- no clue about what to do on objectives (why is that guy yelling at me and what is a hack circle?)
- no clue that gear was not consumed after each game.
- no clue about things like armor penetration.
- no clue about using cover properly. (First few games were all texas stand offs out in the open either the marauder was going down or I was going down)

... things were a lot tougher, and we were tougher! Kids now adays talk about maxing manifests in a few hundred hours. In my day we didn't have premium packs. Gold was the top difficulty and there was no money for extraction! Guns just tickled enemies with a couple exceptions. Yeah the Carnifex or Widow could do some damage, but those were rare. And nobody had ultra-rares that were worth anything. Of course that Salarian down the street had his Black Widow, which he would go on and on about. See sniping SI's were in style in those days. Of course the other fashion was Asari Adept. Ha, it looks silly now. We used to think you needed Stasis to beat Cerberus.

Stasis was the Cerberus neutralizer. Sabotage destroyed Geth then Decoy after they nerfed the balls off Sabotage.
And everyone dreaded Reapers especially on a small map. 2 medigels, 2 cobras, 2 thermals, 2 ops with Banshees chasing you through Ravager **** all game long.

Back in my day, single-shot sniper rifles sucked, and were pretty much unusable on any class other than the Salarian Infiltrator.
Back in my day, Decoy actually worked on stuff other than Geth mooks.

It was sooo sweet on the Asari Adept back in the day. Nothing dropped out of stasis while it still had a head.
I still sometimes use it on her to this day

Compared to its SP counterpart, it's still almost underwhelming in MP.
