Back in the day I played the quarian infiltrator all the time and now I still play the quarian infiltrator all the time.

Also the shield gate used to be 100% making most sniper's useless without a shield tripping power.

Back then you'd camp FBWGG (Firebase White Geth Gold) and tell stories about strange players that didn't camp on Gold!? Also at 30secs you'd fire a missle at the stairs and run to the LZ, you didn't want to be last.

Getting an extraction on Gold was difficult and required team work

Basically you could pick QI, sabotage something, and watch all the Geth fight each other from your duration/bonus power cloak.

Hilarious for a few games but it got old pretty quick.

Yeah but I did not intend to join them in the 1st place, I searched for Gold and the game put me in a Silver lobby, just like other times I searched for Plat and ended up in Bronze GIP, I guess those are signs that we'll have an official random difficulty mode in ME4.

Isn't there already an "Any Difficulty" mode?

2 quarian engineers and the Geths just fought each other. It was the first farmer setup - sabotage and FBWGG.

Ninja'd.

To add to this, Sabotage could effect two synthetics at a time, which mean a 4 QFI team could control all of the Geth at one time.

Er, round that time I seem to remember missiles aimed at stairs not working every so often. I (eventually...) always aimed for the walls to either side.

So I've read. I think there still could have been a happy medium between that and what Sabotage is now (basically only useful for TV and getting revenge at the Geth via stagger locking them with their exploding bretheren.)

Aggro shifted faster to the hacked targets as well.

I think everytime they wanted to nerf another power, they nerfed the hell out of sabotage instead. The stacking damage versus organics was also nerfed, at once a whole team could sabotage a Banshee to death pretty fast now it takes a pretty good while. The nerf versus that power was way overdone because of the FBWGG farming and the FQI being used so commonly. Sabotage is still a great stunning power but not much else these days.

I used the Falcon.. alot.. before the nerf, it was amazing!

It was the nerf that brought me to bsn, I was so dissapointed,

but very glad to find out that they intended to balance out the multiplayer.
