Lets hear them. All the potential plot twist this game could give us that would be "What the Hell? That's stupid!"

The Inquisitor is the main Villain. They just got Amnesia from the Explosion.

I would really enjoy that, actually.

I think that, when it would become clear that the presence of the inquisition prolonged the war that is going on, I would think something like you said OP :)

Something that I would find stupid and game breaking would be if someone was cooking and mixed the ingredients wrong, which caused the veil to tear and the demons to pour out. It would be just too close to a real life experience that I had while cooking and would ruin the game for me (Don't keep the chili you are cooking if you accidentally cut yourself and  some of your blood drips into it, this can summon a demon).

In all seriousness, I think I be fine with anything as long as it doesn't include amnesia or our character having a hidden agenda that us, the player, doesn't know about.

Sandal is the Big Bad, and his sudden appearances in piles of dead things was supposed to be epic foreshadowing of this fact all along.

The plot twists I don't want to see are:

  • The player character is the villain;
  • The player character is the OGB;
  • The player character is actually a spirit/demon.

You finish the game only to find out that *insert dramatic music here* the Inquisitor was dead the whole time!!!!!  (where is my M. Night Shymalan 'what a twist!' gif when I need it lol)

The Darkspawns are actually just being oppressed by the dwarves, so they're just fighting back. It was the dwarves who actually invented the darkspawns. You must choose in the end between destroying an entire race of darkspawns you have been trying to kill for the last three games but for some reasons supposed to sympathize with them now or destroying all the dwarves that have been living alongside your society for many years but suddenly act jerky to make it a "grey" decision supposedly. In the end, you can choose to close the veil by sacrificing yourself, infusing the darkspawns with humans, or control the darkspawn by playing a mini game called Simon says.

This ending is too stupid for anyone to even think up and put in the game, so it will never happen in any dimension of reality, I don't think.

Well..now that I think about it a bit more...it may sound cool Like near the end of the Game it all comes back to the Inquisitor and has a moral dilemma of finishing your plans of doing the Evil thing or your experience with your companions and going through what you just did changes your mind.

The use of magic drains out the fade like in the movie cocoon. That's why the city is black. The game is a lesson in sustainable development.

Also Flemeth is an old god/andraste/the maker/morrigan/anybody who isn't Flemeth.

The OP was asking for worst plot twists, not greatest.

Sound like an M. Night Shyamalan's movie.

What a twist.
