The only way to 'win' is for Dog to have found the used pantaloons in DAO. Which character you then gave them to determines the epilogue slides.

Destroy all demons but all mages die and you to because you have connection to the fade.

Control all demons but you die, your soul become part of the fade.

Green ending everyone combine with spirit.

How bout this plot twist. The inquisitor is actually from the future, and has come back in time to stop the fade enveloping the world and most of the Solar system, but here's the thing the people from the future have used a Quantum leap accelerator to pull this off. This has resulted in memory loss for the Leaper inhabiting The Inquisitors body this means he/she has forgotten almost everything they needed to put this great wrong right... apart from Fade seal powers which are actually highly advanced Magical abilities that are being used in the Future to push back the fade. 

 

Also the so Called Elder one is also a Leaper cept one like Sam Becket at the end of Quantum leap in short the Elder one can go to anytime and inhabit anybody, thus giving the impression he/she's been about for a long time they are just traveling through time

Yep. We have seen that all the factions in DA are incontrovertibly evil. Ergo, the ending should involve their total destruction.

The Inquisitor is the main Villain. They just got Amnesia from the Explosion.

 

That, or the inquisitor being a fade spirit.

The inquisitor dies half way through and is replaced with Hawke, everything we saw so far is a bluff.
