Is There One Thing You'll Never Budge On?

Is there one thing that no matter how many times you would play DA:I you'll make the same in the every pre game world state?

- For me one would be Loghain being dead.  He's dead in every single one of my Origins playthroughs.

- Another might be saved the circle in Origins, but there were a couple games where I went with Templars just to see what would happen.  So maybe I would side with Templars once just to see what happens for replay value.

What are some of yours if you have any?

The Rite of Anullment is always wrong.

Zathrian has to either reverse the curse or I will side with the werewolves.

Hmm aside from one early playthrough Alistair and Anora being married is something that won't change for what I put into the Keep (and I will always harden Alistair as well)

Something else to add assuming we'll be taking awaking into account I always save the fort instead of the city.

I think for me it's going to be that Loghain is always dead, either killing the archdemon or executed, never have him joining the GW if I'm planning on doing the DR.

I once, unknowingly, made of Alistair a drunkard, but that's never going to be imported into DAI, so Alistair always sober if he lives  :P

I never made the deal with the demon that possess Connor, so it's always dead and not coming back.

I can't think of anything else that it's not going to get imported at least once (Evil world state), though it's true that most of my "imports" are going to be only slight variations of my canon playthroughs

Edit: two more, never made the deal with Fenriel's demon either, if that's something that we could put in the keep, and I never give Fenris to Danarius.

Loghain either dies in a blaze of glory, or lives to fight another day. No execution.

You never made your Warden King, or married Alistair?  Or you're just not going to make that the world state?

I never budge on desecrating the Urn of Sacred Ashes for Kolgrim and his band of inbred lizard-loving morons. Genitivi might or might not get a knife to his head, but the Disciples of Andraste always get slaughtered.

Also, I've never yet spared Loghain.

-Never side with the werewolves, either let Zathrian have his way or make him end the curse.

-Never let Anora rule, either spare Loghain with Hardened Alistair marrying her, or just Alistair alone.

-Picked Harrowmont once to what would happen, probably won't ever do it again. Bhelen all the way.

-Anders can go to hell, each and every time. DA2 ruined him so bad I tend to kill him in DAA just because.

Others I'm not especially committed to:

-About 50/50 on killing Wynne and going through with the annulment. My elves tend to do it, just to deny the humans a strong weapon.

-Despoil the Ashes or not, don't really care most of the time, really depends on whether or not my character would want to kill the high dragon.

-Branka/Caradin, normally depends on how cynical my play through is.

I'll never import a game where I desecrated the Urn, but I did want to play Reaver a little so...

I can't play a Reaver without defiling the Urn. It's the only specialization (besides Arcane Warrior and Duelist) that has a quest tied to it. Doesn't make sense to spontaneously develop dragon powers IMO.

The only one I can think of is saving Sten in Lothering. Did anyone leave him to die?

That's another one. I never side with Caridin. Either I side with Branka and she makes me golems. Or I side with Branka and convince her to destroy the Anvil.

Yes, once, and it's going to get imported, even if I love him   :P I don't recruit characters very frequently, in fact, in DA and in ME, and I'm curious to see what differences it makes, if any, when you meet them again, if you do

I always kill Anders, I could have found another way if he didn't butt his head in..... or at least sarcastic Hawke could have gotten a few more jokes in at the Templers or mages expense.

Varric bromance.

I could never bring myself to rival him. Hawke needs a steady friend.
