I usually try to do at least two playthroughs on games like this, one a happy go lucky, everyone possible lives, as much damage minimized as possible.

And then a darkest playthrough.

So, uh, I've done just about everything people are against.

Except be mean to Dog, I suppose.

I've tried this in ME and DA and can never just go through a game taking all the evil options.  Some things I just can't justify even trying to do a dark playthrough.

I'd write my entire set of choices, since I'm pretty sure I always play the same decisions, but different characters. The one thing I change is romances.

... I think I'll cry now.

Mine are rather generic...

I destroy the anvil and kill Loghain. Mainly because I always bring Shale with me, and she has so much faith in Caridin. And I let Alistair kill Loghain... I'm sure there are other tactically minded people in Ferelden :P

Hmm. Upon further inspection, it would seem that there are very few choices that I haven't made, actually. There are two choices that I have never made, but are more out of coincidence than any conscious decision.

1) Always harden Alistair. This happens to be the best way to ensure his survival (or at least non-wandering-drunk status) at the end of the game, and before I knew how useful it was to harden him, I found him a bit annoying. (I grew to like him eventually)

2) Never romanced Zevran. This is more of an issue of how the characters that I have played that may have actually romanced Zevran killed him before ever speaking to him. The ones that don't kill him are a little to naive to ever appreciate Zev's dangerous allure. shrug

Never side with Branka. That was one seriously disturbed Paragon.

You make it sound like using the useless members of society and criminals as Golem Slaves to be bad.

Always kept this guy alive. No way I can ever kill off this awesome creature. Please, let him return in Inquisition.   :D

Anders. He will always be a recipient of the Murder Knife. What a stupid bastard.

I never leave Redcliffe to be destroyed. I never kill either Dalish Clan. I never condone or tolerate Anders' actions at the end of Dragon Age 2.

I never betray Fenris and I always let Zevran live and join me.

A lot of the other things I love experimenting with, although some of the more evil options are harder to go through with sometimes.

I like letting Anders walk because Sebastian's reaction is priceless. And I hate Sebastian anyway, so if letting Anders live upsets Sebastian, then I'm all for it.

Recruiting every companion. Even if we argue and they leave, I still recruit them. It might be a stretch for my PC but I do it anyway.

Oh, I always, ALWAYS befriend Shale. Just... I love her.

Well there's a lot of things I never budge on. I generally play a good guy all of the time.

I never annull the Fereldan circle.

I always destroy the Anvil and choose Harrowmont. (they're both horrible options really)

I always make Zathrian and the curse.

I always save the village of Redcliffe and save Connor through the Fade...

Well, you get the gist.

I knew people didn't like Loghain or Anders, but never knew this many people didn't like Alistair.

Worse. The Golems began as volunteers, while Branka sacrificed members of her House as nutritional and sexual victims to the Darkspawn. My evil Wardens could justify the first for gathering personal power, but could not imagine the perversity required to perform the latter. My only regret for killing her is for Oghren, so I almost always allow him to select the reward.

I also always return the sword to Bevin; prefer the Bardic lore if evil to another second rate weapon.

Alistair always dead. I hate him more than Anders.

Ruler of Ferelden is usually Anora.

The Warden is never a Dwarf.

I have always saved the Mages, but have always been conflicted about it.

'Alistair always dead'

'Anora *usually* Ruler of Fereldan'

Uh...that doesn't make any sense

I accidentally had to kill Shale in my last play through.  I was at the anvil and sided with miss crazy dwarf this time and Shayle  (which is what her real name may be as it is what Caradin called her) attacked my group.  I felt rather bad.

Never harden Leliana.

I can justify hardening Alistair for the Kingdom's Sake, but I always feel bad when doing it, because Idealism is such a rare Thing in Thedas. And thus, I always refrain from hardening her and preserve her precious Idealism.

To be more clear then....I always have Alistair executed. He is annoying to me. If my character is a Male Human, I have married Anora and become the King Consort. If my character has been female, I have let Anora be Queen, but I don't get to be the consort. Does that make more sense to you?

The Rite of Anullment is always wrong.

Zathrian has to either reverse the curse or I will side with the werewolves.

Pretty much this for me too.

I could never do things that were 100% evil and pointless. If there was a logical RP reason to do something bad then I could do it but not often (such as kill Connor because you don't want to leave the village to the demon's wrath while you seek the circle and blood magic is evil and corruptive and may not even work). Things like leaving Vaughn alive, executing Alistair, sacrificing the alienage elves to make yourself stronger and letting the slavers go, selling Fenris back into slavery, etc...I can't do those things ever.

I will kill Loghain. The bastard, who hangs the people, who count on him, out to dry in Ostagar, deserves nothing else than death. In a real war he would get a trial with following execution, because of cowardice at the enemy.

Slavery related stuff. Even when I play evil I have a tendency to be freedom loving evils. The only major difference between killing/dealing with slavers as my evil vs my good guys generally comes down to the actual slaves. Goods there to save em, evil is there to kill slavers for being useless and tends to just ignore the slaves after, as its their own fault for being incapable of helping them selves.

That so far hasn't ever really cropped up in any DA game, least not in some way where you can directly involve your self with slavery. There was that Tevinter mage dude in origin where you could sacrifice all the elves to gain power and 'let him go'. Good or bad I always murdered him on the grounds of F-Slavers. My 'evil' guys just enjoyed killing him more then the good guys, and was dismissive when it came to freeing people.
