You can ROLL as you're being revived!

If your playing on firebase Rio you have the choice of thinking inside the box OR outside the box.

Amazing/dynamic/dramatic stuff as usual! This is pretty sweet reference material for artwork.

On topic: Fight every match like it's your last day alive. Make your characters look as fabulous as possible by painting armour in the brightest and most saturated colours. It's all fun and games until the pissed-off pink Krogan shows up on the frontlines.

never use PPR, because everyone can see how bad your aim is

Unless you're just trying to be nice by serving as a mobile flare/marker light for your more accuracy gifted teammates.

On Xbox - ALWAYS remember to check your batteries on your wireless controller, or you can be in big.ss trouble (get from hero to zero in no time).

And always keep batteries close by or a place, where you actually know where to find them.

I was told this by a friend............
Never happens to me................

And if you use a rechargable pack, make sure you have two controllers so that you can swap the packs.

Provided you kept the other one charged....

i also heard this from a friend...it would never have happened to me.....

When you are playing Cerberus, and it's nearly the end of the wave, and there are 3 Turrets scattered around and the controller says "Only one enemy left!" you could EITHER:

1. Rush like hell to kill that enemy and get to start the next wave with 2 squadmates down and 3 Turrets still active,

OR

2. Wipe out the Turrets carefully one-by-one and ONLY THEN go and kill the last Assault Trooper or Nemesis that's hiding quietly somewhere.

OK, needs to be modified by common sense when the last enemy is an Atlas or Phantom. And the number of Turrets can vary.

And admittedly, none of the teams I've played with have ever got past number 1....

Multiple players arming/ disarming the same device makes it go faster.

Always put geth scanner on geth kits. The effect stacks with hunter mode so you can basically see all the enemies, useful so those sneaky brutes, scions and atlases don't sync kill you.

Most of the time, what kills you is what you don't see. Watch each other's 6.

@ the video above, yeah I'm that infiltrator, right down to the sniping.

Atlases are easily avoided you could just avoid the enemy long enough for the turrets to expire (two minutes after being set or repaired if I recall)

You're being the voice of cool reason here. I'd agree with you, if I were a lot more reasonable and a lot less deranged.  :P

For myself, I'm more on the side of KILL IT WITH FIRE...!

No, you're being too reasonable marksmad. I'm more schizophrenic than that. I approach turrets with the  "Ring Around the Rosie" and "KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!" mindsets.

There are two ways to handle objective waves: 1.)The stick up my butt approach and 2.)The fun way. The first one focuses on well...doing the actual objective as quickly as possible. This is the one you'll see preached on who cares to count how many threads on bsn. As anyone who has read these forum discussions is probably aware, the typical bsn poster (myself included) serve as the fun police. Therefore do objectives the second way: Run around focusing on getting all the kills and forget about that suicide drone or laptop dropped out in the open for anyone to pick up.

Some extra advice to further those who just want to have fun during objectives:

General; But I didn't know you couldn't just kill everything first is a valid defense. 1 second left, 4 minutes left it doesn't matter you succeeded didn't you?

Devices: Who wants to waste 10 seconds kneeling around a microwave or I don't even want to know? Simply ignore it and wait for the infiltrator to take care of it; after all tactical cloak is only useful for devices and revives just ignore the uh I specced for damage and tell them to stop whining. If the infiltrator still refuses, bring the party to him and only agree to get out of the way once the device is started. If the party does not have an infiltrator pass priority to the juggernaut (bonus points if the game is evil and keeps placing the devices on opposite sides of the map). No Jugg use the Krogan Spectator; seriously I've yet to be in a gold game where the warlord didn't become useless after the sync killers showed up (apologies to those actually competent with him but for every 1 of you there's 10 I'm invincible...squadmember has flat-lined almost every wave). If none of these apply the duty falls on whoever gets agitated first.

Hack or Escort: Stay away from the blue circle and have all the enemies come to you. You only need one person to decide I want the credits more often than not to make it anyhow. Simply pray the sync killer doesn't ninja past you and the other teammates who scattered to the four corners and ambushes you're best friend. If he dies wait and see who cares the most about the credits first.

Pizza Delivery: See hack or escort. Bonus points for making the juggernaut do it.

Assassination: Wait this is the one you want to do. Missile all the things!

Summary: TL;DR but I wanted to type this so **** you.

A really weird objective. Accidentally enabled it. Not bad, but anyone who holds the objective can't release it, and they're the only one who can see the drop zone if I'm correct.

Never shoot enemies who are hacked by sabotage. They do massive damage and draw tons of aggro. Only idiots spec into Tech Vulnerability anyway.

Aim for the head.

Or if you are an Infiltrator using Javelin, aim at any body part, really, since Javelin don't give a ****.

Objective hints

Pizza...Make the FQE (or FQI) do it (seems to be a rule in my games)

Hack Leave the Warlord alone in the circle

Escort......leave the Juggernaut and Nova Guard to do this one

Devices.....perfect job for a Drell Adept

Targets kill everything that isn't the target and let The PPR Turian Ghost kill them

The are recent experiences in my games and may not be textbook

Remember that positioning your character relative to your team is extremely important.

For example, there is a sniping Infiltrator on your team, and you are playing a SmashBro, or SlashBro/SlashGirl: clearly you need to place yourself BEHIND the sniper to spam Smash/Slash. But if you were playing the Jugg, you have to make sure to stand IN FRONT of the sniper, so that you can cover them with your Hex Shield. (You specced XXL Shield, right?)

Logic allows this easily to be extended to placing other kits, such as those with Shockwave.

I just stand in front of them with a giant Red Krolord

My experience with effective objective strategies in PUGs

Pizza: Make the quarian get both of them. They are a "needs of the many" type of people and will have no issues with getting downed repeatedly for the good of the team due to average speed and squishiness

Devices: Quarians are tech specialists, so if you have one you should let them get all 4. Especially quarksman, who has no cloak or pet to waste time with activating, and no arc grenades to waste time with trying to clear the enemies out

Escort: Leave the quarian alone with the drone. Quarians love drones, even giving them adorable names and talking to them. She will appreciate the extra time given to become best friends with the suicidal ball of annoyance.

Targets: Let the quarian missile the first target, then help by missiling the pyro that it switches to along with the prime so it switches back. After all, pyros are sneaky and might burn you if you try and get close

Hack: Leave the quarian alone in the circle. They are your tech expert, and it is best not to distract them while they complete the hack. Make sure to nuke a spawn so it spawns on top of them every now and again, so they are motivated to stay on task and get done faster instead of using the laptop to look up "Fleet and Flotilla fanfiction
