Incase people didn't know this, the triple claymore shot trick with the vanilla human soldier.

if you get devices, have a volus on your team, and the wave consist of husk or abombs have the volus disable the device. The reasoning is the air humpers can't grab the tubby little cubbies so they have to ****** slap you into a down.

It sometimes feels like Shield Boost also Boosts stagger resistance. ie. Several times Banshee Nova hasn't staggered my Volus.

Interesting. I've never really had an opportunity to learn as my usual outcome with volus is to die on wave one in 2 seconds from a melee completely nuking the barrier and stunlocking me and a barrage from whatever resulting in a rage quit

Yes, my early Volus days were like that too. Tons of laughter, though. So totally worth it. Best entry Volus kit is the Merc. Spam the light melee & your pets  every chance you get (just don't ever spec drone for rockets, or you'll never see the magic), and enjoy some super relaxing matches that rivals playing a Puggernaut. Was going to write some sort of guide for him. Might still do it...

When playing Collectors, at the end of wave 11, if there isn't an A-Bomb in the extraction circle, and you have a missile left, you can cause your squad's hearts to skip by firing the missile at the ground just before the timer ticks to zero.

Terminator Tip #1; play with Sinful, and ensure he lives. Even if it means rocketing every horde of enemies on the way to his lifeless in game avatar body that may or may not be stuck flailing in an embarrassing manor.

Using decoy makes it easier to go up against banshees because when you cast it directly in front of a banshee during the phase the banshee stops moving and begins to start her power absorption denial phase she's more inclined to using the scream attack because banshees, they're not smart enough to distinguish between real players and a decoy. 

 

Felt like sharing it because I don't think most people know about this plus it helps out the power casting classes.

Not sure if this was already posted or not but here's one off the top of my head. Soloers will already know this but maybe casuals don't.

On objective waves enemies constantly respawn until you complete the objectives and the credits pop up on the screen. One good nuke after the credits can end the wave immediately if all 8 enemies are grouped together. This works best on platinum since it has more tanky boss units. It can shave minutes off the match time.

Not sure how many know this but here's a way to overcome Geth stun while trying to reload:

 

Face away from the direction of stun and then reload. You'll be able to reload without any issue. Works for all Geth stagger except the geth drone (because it literally throws your character rather than a simple stun).

 

Oh, and hard cover eliminates any weapon stagger. Very useful when using automatic guns as you can fire away without worrying about stagger. The additional DR is also useful.
