Tip: when the omni-button on your controller stops working properly from being mashed so hard so many times, give it a well-earned rest and recuperation period by playing the Juggernaut.

True. I was playing only Juggernaut for a week or two until I could get a new controller. I went from being awful at the Juggernaut to being about average or slightly below average at it. I just don't think me and Juggy are ever really going to be friends.

My impression is that the Juggy experience really depends on your teammates, more so than with many kits. Because you tend to attract all the aggro to yourself, if they run off and kill stuff on the far side of the map, you have a lousy game. If they come and wipe some of the aggro off you, and kill the bosses that you hold still for them to shoot at, it all goes very smooth.
But what do I know, I'm a scrub. Even playing the Jugg ![]()

You know, I think my Juggy has it backwards, if anything he seems to repel aggro. I never notice any difference between him and anything else I'm playing. I seem to be a natural husk/abomination/Phantom/Boss magnet no matter how small and insignificant I am. Why? ![]()
Shields aren't everything. That will definitely help with building a decent character.
Also, use all of your rockets before the end of the first wave, unless it's bronze, in which case you save them for when your team mate is 2 seconds away from killing a boss.
Protip: If you happen to get grabbed by a husk and your melee button breaks, yell loudly at the screen. The husk may have mercy and let you go free without needing a medigel.

My A button is on its last legs, I have to press it very hard to keep it down to run.
Sure about that ? I think that one time an ops pack saved my life from an atlas sync-kill.
For Banshees, Praetorians and Scions, yes, the sync-kill animation is definitively too long.
Was it an autorevive? IE something else killed you while the sync animation was completing. I had one the other day from a Scion instakill where a nade blew up while he was playing smash the cannon up my ass.

Play in accordance with your play style and adjust it in different situations where you see fit.
Don't go feel as if there's a need to play a kit in a certain way because of other players you see play that kit, (ex juggy melee 24/7, volus that's clingy to the team and doesn't improve overall team DPS), play your kit however you want that makes you satisfied.

You need to take up playing the Jugg....
If you play a character once and score low and die a lot, there is nothing wrong with how you play. It's just a bad character and you should never use it again.

The "omni" button? I'm astonished I've never heard it called that before. I'm also very much in awe of the software that can somehow sense my intention, and then do something completely different in every instance when the "omni button" is keyed (ie. lock to cover when trying to run, deactivate and objective when attempting a revive, etc.).
With all the buttons/combinations possible, we better not have a shoddy omni-button in ME4. Seriously, it's a detriment.

WRONG! all the proz know to save all of your rockets for wave 11 epeening!

I have to buy a new controller because of this damn game, no matter what the A button now only acts intermittently... stutter running, perfect. ![]()

I have a list of those. It has...lemme see...(counting)....yeah, sixty-five characters on it.

Don't think I'm the originator. The point being that it's A on Xbox, A on WiiU (but in a different place on the pad), some geometrical figure on a PS3 controller, and Space by default on PC - but that can be changed.

ProTip: carrying too many players will increase your coolstatus, effectively slowing down how often you will be called a scrub.
If searching for a game is taking a long time, refresh your connection to the servers by loading the leaderboards and navigating up and down to force load stuff that isn't cached. Then search again.
(Serious tip that actually works, often at least.)
Tip: You see a Banshee, run like hell...
Fire from a distance to avoid getting insta-killed whilst still dealing some damage to it's barrier and armour.
Actual pro tip: If you want to play an unknown/unknown game, set collectors as the desired faction to fight in the search menu. Generally speaking, pugs are terrified of collectors and would never preset them as the enemy. Best case scenario- you land in an UU lobby. Worst case Not what you were looking for but still a very damn good scenario- you land in a collectors GiP with NightSlasher.
Win-win situation.

True story.
Also, why is playing with me 'worst case' scenario? ![]()
