maybe thats going to be Morrigan's role in Inquisition.

That's what I was thinking.

but you're stubborn as hell in any argument and those were some of the extreme cases.

Well if you don't have a solid base, what's the point of arguing?

You should ask yourself that.

._. You sold yourself into the bondage  of a hunger demon? Lovely.

No, you don't get it. We understand each other. We both want more power and knowledge, and someone to rely on! We also had a lot of philosophical conversations! Zar is a very multi-dimensional demon as he devours other demons and spirits to become more powerful, so he understand a lot of concepts and is quite intelligent.

Well, with Solas, Vivienne, Dorian, I don't think we need a mage advisor, we have already experts in this area in our team. They'll give their opinions, and it's up to you to listen to whoever make a point according to you. A mage advisor isn't really needed in my opinion. Unless I misundertood the op.

Headcannon is lovely isn't it?

Pity many demons, even those of higher tiers seem to be dumber then a rock.

Lovely indeed, as long as it doesn't get interrupted.

I actually think hunger demons are potentially the most advanced demons, as they don't rely on mortals in the first place.

Technically, we don't know if Corypheus is human either...  But both can use magic.

And I'd put my money on the one that can turn into a dragon and duplicate herself, rather than the one that can affect the minds of the tainted.

Yea we do, he was one of the magisters who entered the Black City and became one of the first DarkSpawn

His initial dialogue STRONGLY gives that impression.

I'd still argue the Architect being one

All demons can possess inanimate objects or corpses. They just don't like to. They prefer a living and sapient creature above all things. It's just that the higher order demons are often more capable of securing these.

But as the setting has shown multiple times, the demon rankings are more of guidelines, with some of the 'weaker' demon types, like sloth, having higher types serving them.

Maybe, Maybe not.

He can use Amataratsu o.o so he is something special.

technically speaking templars use magic to perform their abilities, so Cullen is the next best thing.

I thought I heard Cameron say Morrigan is the Mage Advisor in one of those million interviews he did.

Morrigan seems like someone who'll show up randomly at the right time

Morrigan seems like someone who'd show up at the worst time.

well she is Empress Celene's goto person for all things magic, as she supposedly is fascinated by the subject, and thus keeps morrigan at courtside, so whenever you go there you'll likely see her.

In a choice based game, there are bound to be "wrong choices". Getting support from weak and fractured groups while spurning the large and powerful, should be falling into that category. So even if you are the protagonist does not mean you are infallible.

Unless you take a Machiavellian approach. When two rival powers exist surrounded by lesser powers Machiavelli would suggest aligning with the lessers in order to crush the larger rival.

It'd be technically difficult for me to listen to him due to my pathological need to punch Cullen every time I see him :P

Only if those lesser together rivaled the greater in power. You could gather all the lessers of Thedas and they would probably not even put a dent in the Chantry.

Well everyone in the game says the chantry is utterly broken, its not even united anymore. Probably when we say "chantry" now it means the one(s) in orlais and possibly Nevarra.
