I Wish There Was A Mage Advisor

If I'm dealing with Orlesian politics, I will turn to Vivienne as well as Leliana and Josephine for advice.
Blackwall would have the most experience when dealing with the Grey Wardens and darkspawn. Even Varric has ventured into the Deep Roads with Hawke on multiple occasions.
Solas and Dorian are specialists regarding the Fade, so I can take their knowledge of the dream realm and compare it to Cole's experiences.
As a leader of leaders, the Inquistor has some of the most capable people in Thedas at his disposal. My Inquistor will be sure to get their thoughts on relevant topics often.

I get the feeling Antiva is like a loose end and they are not really Andrastian, only in name and official matters. I mean at least their culture points to this. I only have tiny bit of hope in Josephine but... I don't know.

Only if the the mage adviser was from one of the Chantry controlled Circles, as opposed to someone like Morrigan.
Outside of Tevinter, is there such a thing as a non-Chantry controlled Circle? The rebel mages certainly aren't using that organization or nomenclature. I think you need to revise your italics.

Well the circle in Anderfels is somewhat independent but the number of mages there seems to be low because many join the grey wardens.

Considering how you assumed that the mage adviser would have to be Andrastian, that didn't seem to be the case.
Because it most likely would be the case, outside of Morrigan

We really don't know what kind of language the mages are currently using, as the conclusion of Asunder was the Fraternities breaking away from the Chantry and their templars.

They better be, The only other viable options are Qunari, Isolationist elves or Hedge Mages.
._. I'd take a good Andrastian human over the BS of the others.

The original thread addressed a hypothetical mage adviser, which doesn't necessarily mean an Andrastian mage adviser.

I really wanted for Josephine to be a mage, shame she isn't.

Not sure why this is even a discussion. As I've said before, there are three flavors of mage in the party alone, not including the potential mage inquisitor. You have Vivenne the establishment Circle Mage, Dorian the Tevinter rebel, and Solas the outsider hedge mage.
It's like Neopolitan Ice Cream, only with opinions.

The whole Advisor cast is just ridiculous, it's like a freaking mafia. A hand of the Divine, a Templar and a political advisor that is great friends with hand of the Divine and was appointed to the position because of that. Like wtf? I don't like andrastians and the Divine! We even have another hand of the divine in our party that we can't get rid of. Just fml - My Inquisitor.

No, not even close.
The greatest gift a normal mortal can have is a sword a sharp enough to pierce a mage's heart through the sternum.

Through the sternum perhaps, but no sword is sharp enough to breach magic.

Seeing as the Inquisition was the Divine's backup plan, it makes since why Cassandra and Leliana have their roles. They recruited Cullen and Josephine, the proto-Inquisition is made up of the remaining loyal Seekers (and maybe Templars?)
They already explained way we can't get rid of the Advisors in a way
That's the way it is, and it's the story they wanna tell

Well then screw them! Can't I find other people that are interested in stopping the breach and are fascinated by my glowing hand?

They have plenty of diversity. Whether they have characters you're going to agree with is another matter.

._. Maric's blade did, and quite easily.
The Mage freaked the **** out when his barrier was cut through and shattered.

Mage character that could fit any of these three, I find lacking, though cant say a mage is incapable.
Scribbles(Josie) would be trusted more. Leliana is an experienced spy and Cullen is or was part of a military unit command and has many troops following him
(NOTE: Any hate towards them three had their own thread and should be dealt with there.
Not here.)
