It will be nice to see Dagna again; she was a really nice character.

The rather high Andrastian composition of the organization does make it a bit lonely, however. It's not like there's someone who understands Dalish culture, or truly living a life outside the Qun; hopefully, Varric can be a confidant and friend to a Dwarven protagonist.

Well... as far as the companions go - they are a pretty rag-tag bunch, I don't think most of them have much in common with the others, but friendships apparently form regardless - even ones you wouldn't expect (Solas and Cassandra, for example. Even Sera and Iron Bull to some extent - if you really think about it).  Even the advisors don't get along all that well with each other, despite being loyal to the Chantry - at least, it sounds like Leliana or Josie only get along with Cullen as well as they need to to work with him. My point being, friendships don't have to be based on having people of a common background - in fact, I personally find them more interesting when they are not.

Yeah, sure. Send Anders in without a Warrior to divert attacks and see how long he lasts.

A rouge has more evasion than warrior and Isabella does just fine. Also Cory uses magic attacks and mages take the least damage from it because the attribute "magic" grants magic resistance among with other mage spells. I can always stay in the spinning fires with mages when other classes instantly die.

I have killed Malvernis with 3 mages and a rouge and you cannot imagine how easy it was. HEAL HEAL HEAL, Crowd Control aka CC CC CC, AOE DESTRUCTION. Permanent haste buff, 30 seconds of invulnerability and many other things... the utility is astonishing. Warriors are just tanks, their single target damage is beating by both the mages and rogues and their Aoe beats the rogue but is still beaten by the mage. They are only useful as tanks.

Rinse and repeat.

Also stop, none-mages can be good but we both know that in same numbers Mages have a huge advantage.

I completed the sentence for you.

Even After the Blight they maintained the largest organized army in the world, they still had them in field which presumably means they could supply them for the foreseeable future, so both those points you mentioned are moot. The great famine that staved the Tevinter Armies off, also happened AFTER their massive defeat on the battlefield.

They lost on the battlefield, and in the home front, equally and it destroyed them.

It's a husk refusing to die, not much else.

What mage could possible compare to Corypheus that is not a PC?

Any mage that dedicated their life to warfare.

I vouch for Fiona as well, she is the only one who has killed a broodmother beside the PC. Also she is not possessed or anything, normal strong mage.

He is not weak, but saying that he is the strongest mage is ridiculous.

Then who would you suggest for the title, that isn't the PC?

Friends don't have to, but my point isn't that there can't be friendships, but that there is some inequality in how a human protagonist has a plethora of people who can relate to his views and culture, while that isn't true for the Dalish or Vashoth protagonist.

Answer above, there could be plenty. But I am talking the pure killing potential, since that was the original premise of power.

Hey, at least you have the elven culture you want represented at all through the protagonist. Some of us aren't that lucky.

She has beaten the architect as well and somehow "she doesn't have to go on her calling".

If she has indeed beaten the taint itself then its middle finger to cory.

While I like Fiona, I don't see her abandoning the mages while they are at war. Now after the war is over with the mages winning or a peace option(please let there be a peace option), I can see her being a friend and giving some advice on certain things.

That's just how it works.

Everyone thought Vivi was LI but see what happened. I was sad at the amount of disappointment.

True - A Dalish/Vashoth Inquisitor doesn't really get to see their own culture mirrored in that of their companions - not in the same way a human or even a surface dwarf does - although, a Dalish would have Solas to relate to - his being a free mage and elf, and having spent time with the Dalish (and, possibly trained by them - or so speculation goes).  Even a Vashoth could find a kindred spirit in the Iron bull, possibly - yes, he grew up in the Qun - but he also got sent away, in a sense, and is now living a life away from it and other Qunari.  I know it's not the same, but it is someone who can relate to that experience, all the same.

Comparing apples to oranges a bit, aren't you?

The topic you are discussing is which cultures will be represented in the Inquisition, not love interests.

And there's no one that can beat Corypheus.

If you're a magister, you're already at the top of the food chain because if any soldier could kill you, he would and become a magister. If you're one of the five most important magisters at the height of the Imperium, then that's scary.

You add the Taint and you have the most powerful mage in the setting.

So nothing but your own half-arsed ideas and baseless rationale... Gotcha....

It's the exclusion of something a player wanted. You aren't able to play as a city elf, and I'm not able to pursue a romance with my canon.

With characters who aren't the main character; technically speaking, you're off-topic as well.

That is why you went for Templar and Reaver spec so that your tank was basically an immortal god on the battlefield.

Yeah, I know but even with the proper outfitting and speccing i had a lot of trouble on certain parts of the game, due only to the stupid cooldown timer.

Warriors are just tanks, their single target damage is beating by both the mages and rogues and their Aoe beats the rogue but is still beaten by the mage. They are only useful as tanks.

Are you joking? If you can't specc properly, that your issue, not the class'.

Bullwark of the Ages + Spirit Warrior + Berserker + Precise Striking +Perfect Striking + Peon's Plight.

Invulnerability, Speed and Damage all increased multiple times.

Trust me... The solo run on Nightmare also involved a whoooooole lot of kiting, running and praying that the cd would come off in time...
