I heard Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon are also pretty solid also as far as 360 goes. Infininite Undiscovery being a tri-ace game I'm sure I'd like it but yeah.... never bothered to get a 360 =/.

Blue Dragon didn't really interest me from what I remember although I did like Lost Odyssey. My favorite thing about Lost Odyssey is that they would get writers to create separate stand alone short stories for the immortals and a few of them were extremely good.
This game...

and this one..

I payed full price for a brand new copy and I'm happy to have supported it. 35 bucks well spent as far as I'm concerned. Can't think of many 60-70 dollar games that have given me nearly as much enjoyment as this one.

No and I feel like I should be slapped for that tbh. It will probably be my goto game when I need a solid feels trip.
Ace Attorney too. I've been saying "I'll play it soon" for far too long now.

Well Katawa shoujo is free and you can get it now. Like right now. This second. Go do the thing.
Ace attorney is getting a remake on the 3DS soon I think so you could try that.

If you've got an Android phone or a Kindle tablet, I know of a way to get it on there, but the PC version is going to work, the fanmade mod of it, not sure on every device, plus it would be kinda annoying on a phone.

I have a Nexus 5 phone and a Nexus 7 tablet. Do you think it might work on those? Cause if so I'd probably be playing it within the week.

Probably, it won't mess up your tablet if it doesn't work.
I'll look for it.

Hmm I'd try to get the DS version if you have a DS, looks like the app version focuses only on the story sections and not the puzzles which have some great dialog too.

OK this is from a story portion, but the puzzle portions have dialog just like this. *grumble*

It's one of my top 3 favorite games. I could explain why but that would ruin the mystery
which is what I feel really makes this game as good as it is. I walked into it without knowing anything because I got recommended it from someone I trust and that turned out to be good decision.
If you like any of these things you might have an interest in 999 and VLR: Theoretical sciences, mystery, horror/suspense, large casts of fleshed out characters (which honestly is a huge strong point for me with this series) puzzles, text/story driven games (no surprise since it is a VN)
Also the people who translated it and brought it over did a fantastic job.

I got 999 for my cousin for Xmas once upon a time, based on what everyone is saying... I ended up just reading the whole plot/everything just because I was curious. It's certainly ambitious. I've heard the same thing about Virtue's Last Reward.
I don't really have much VN in my DNA though I guess, a sitting still thing or something.

Lost Odyssey did very well for itself. Yep, the short stories were surprisingly well-crafted. One that sticks in my mind was some sort of jail, I think. They were locked in "shells" or something like that.Blue Dragon didn't really interest me from what I remember although I did like Lost Odyssey. Blue Dragon isn't quite as top notch due to the storyline - probably too cheeseball for most. I was alright with it, but it wasn't exactly memorable. I laughed pretty hard at that Boss Music though. XD

Here it is, you can follow the instructions in the file, or on the page.
Unfortunately, you will need a computer and a .apk installer on your tablet to make it work, but it should work.

Now that I'm thinking about it I'm going to have to go reread some of them when I get a chance because I'm not recalling any off the top of my head (maybe because I'm so tired atm) but I know there was definitely a couple that I remember being really impressed with at the time.

Well, I certainly wasn't blowing another 35 dollars on a second copy. It probably was more to do with my failures with VNs though. I tried Katawa Shoujo also and I'm like this girl is missing her face.
I could possibly be armtwisted into trying Saya No Uta someday though cause you know fleshy murderous nightmare apocalypse situation.
