Noire will win. She always wins.
There are two methods of voting. One method is by voting through the official website and the other is through an app ticket code which can be found in Vol 577 and 578 of Dengeki PlayStation magazine. Voting through the official website is easy, just click on the image of the character you want to vote for and click submit. To know if your vote was counted, once you have submitted, you should see an image like this (depends on who you voted for):

Well look at that! Noire did not win the official website poll
. We still have to wait for the results from the app ticket mode so the winner might still change but Noire lost this one.
But I'm sure that liam is at least happy with the results from the official website poll.
Anyway on 22 december we will know who won the poll.
On another note, hyperdimension neptunia u gets a localization. It's not a JRPG but I don't really know where else I should mention this.

^ I sense an immeasurable amount of joy from Liam right now.
But poor Ge-Ge
Though, if you could, could you translate some of the other names, because I don't think "And buried my Uranus" is a character. Though humorous that it translated to that.
GLORIOUS LADY NEPGEAR IS AT SIX!?
I WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS!
Any idea who number 11 is?
My top 3 favorite Neptune characters are all in the top 10!
So all is well
.
I find the results acceptable.
I still don't know who half the characters are... but its acceptable.

I used google translate so I also had that result.
I totally wish I could read Japanese though.
Man I even recognize a decent amount of the characters!
Any idea who number 11 is?
My guess, because the characters are similar, and it translates to "And buried my Uranus"
It's her from the in-dev VII

Probably a good guess.
I should really pay a lot more attention to the next Neptunia game.
And MAGES. is probably 21
Actually, she wasn't even on the poll, other wise my Plutia vote would have gone to her.
That's probably CFW Magic.

The majority of them are either from mk2 or the Noire spinoff.
YAY! BLANC WINS!
YAY! Wait what am I cheering?
So Xenosaga.
"What are we, Space Jackals? Vultures? Hyenas?"
"Don't compare us to extinct animals!"
Yeah i'm gonna like this game.
So like I said in my previous post, official results from the poll came the 22th december!

IF kind of surprised me.
Plutia should have been higher but at least she is higher than miss tsun tsun.
And yeah for my adorable book with long sleeves still being in the top 10!
I'm glad all my favorites are in the top 10. Well apart from Marvy but she wasn't even an option.
JRPGs and I are at odds. I always like the sound of/enjoy the stories and sometimes choices but nearly always hate the combat/general gameplay.
Thought visual novels would change that but all the ones i'm interested in cost money i don't want to spend or they have little to no choices. The persona games are the only ones i can think of that i managed to deal with the combat in order to get the social sim aspects of it and story. Unless Fire Emblem Awakening counts which i love everything about.

That is common problem with JRPG's. Though there are exceptions.

Ehhh I had this discussion somewhere else, basically I like most JRPGs no matter what because at least they have some gameplay. Anime (which I don't necessarily want to knock), isn't interactive at all so I usually prefer any degree of interactivity over nothing... it's probably why I watched so little anime and mostly played JRPGs.
And also yeah, plenty of them have some pretty addicting stuff... Lufia 2 had pretty cool puzzles, the Star Ocean series has lots of diversity in character/skill building/balancing, the early Final Fantasies had lots of activity and engaging stuff, FFX12 had a kind of automated system a lot of people missed out on with an interesting world..
In more recent times like Odin Sphere was pretty cool and is part of a trend of having more action type of RPGs, same with Xenoblade and ultimately Xenoblade Chronicles X.
Then you have something like Beyond the Beyond though... yeah...

See exceptions. Honestly my main problem lies with grind. Though recently that's all but died out.

Grind is one of the few things that can really get in the way for me getting a few titles. But as you said it's more rare now than before
I cannot believe how useless JRPG reviews are for the most part... it also doesn't feel limited to like an official site review, it can be a youtube review, whatever.
I feel like it was always kind of that way though, but it almost seems like it somehow managed to get worse recently.
