As for Innocent Sin. I've warmed up to it but still think the story is a load of old ******. The characters are what makes it for me, Ginko & Undie Boss Eikichi makes for some good chemistry, half of them are returning characters from Persona 1 though -- The first game's story I can dig, much more consistent and easy to follow with different paths to take. I didn't like that game at all due to it's characters being rather dull at the time and the gameplay being generally outdated, though I've come to liking it quite a bit.

 

Yeah Persona 1 just seems outright unplayable at this point... but also well Innocent wasn't my favorite, pretty much what you said the characters kept me in it more though.

Finished Saya no Uta

I'll try to write up some thoughts later when I get home if I'm not too tired. The true ending was pretty amazing. This game was very unique, and I like unique.

Saddle up if you decide to play this game and leave your sanity at the door for it has no place in this game.

9.5/10 for me

Recently noticed in the announcement of the first Tales of game on PS4 will feature a female lead for once. Colour me intrigued as that seems like a nice change of pace -- I miss the more colourful and in depth environment design of Vesperia. Recent Tales games have been lacking in terms of character models and environment design, it's been rather stiff.

 

On that note, I still need to finish Xillia 2 -- I'm digging the steampunk protagonist and the world of Elympios was the best part about the first game. Good music too.

Looking at her get up now -- It looks bad.. but again once one has been exposed to the stylishness that is Soejima it's hard to compare. I think I preferred Milla's now.

 

All in all, it might still be good.

Well Milla made a bit of sense since she was raised by spirits. The new girls a pirate she should just buy new clothes when they've reached that point. Meh well whatever the character sounds pretty good personality wise.

Pirates? News to me. This is interesting. I liked the Steampunk setting of Xilla, but pirates sounds good to me. Skies of Arcadia would be the only JRPG heavily featuring pirates taht I know of.. hmm, consider me intrigued at least.

Well i'm not sure actually I haven't seen any official article on her being a pirate but I keep seeing commenters say it so I may have missed it.

It looks rather generic and incredibly anime to me.. like something out of a Square Enix game, different edgy coloured socks, extravagant-over-designed-torn-out-cape, short hotpants etc. Like she stepped on a land-mine in a trendy clothing shop. I think I prefer Milla's outfit by comparison -- Incidentally her Xillia 2 outfit. Aside from that, I'm interested in the concept of being a pirate and just generally having a female lead.

Like I said "by comparison". Her design is also overly extravagant but in Xillia 2 it is at least a bit more tame but that's not to say it's all that better.
