This is Namco's chance to port the PS3 version of Vesperia to the West. That is to say -- The real/complete version.
Yes pls.

If they did that, I'd be pretty pleased since it would mean I'd actually complete Vesperia. I bought it back on the 360 but had to sell the console cause of financial troubles and Vesperia is probably the main game I'm rather ehhh about not being able to complete. I was really holding out hope that we'd see the PS3 edition.

/acting like P4 was even hard outside a few areas or the mainline Persona games are on SMT/DS hard quality
I'm not though. I'm only pointing out how hilariously easy Atlus made Golden.

I'm glad. Meant I didn't have to grind ever.

Who plays a dungeon crawler not looking forward to the grind?

Me.

Me.
That was a rhetorical question but, yes.

I wouldn't mind the grind in DS2 so much if it wasn't so poorly designed. It's a little too much grinding through obsolete enemies I wooped during the previous encounter. It's like if P4 expected me to grind for Kanji but only gave me Yukiko's castle to play in before hand. In it's not difficult it's just annoying and time consuming to get the results I want.
I'd rather play Mass Effect Dancing All Night tbh:

Experience scales depending on the day (because enemies get stronger each day) so the grinding never felt too excessive for me. I think the game does a pretty good job of getting you ready for the day's boss. Once your characters' experience for each battle starts to fall to lower levels you're pretty much good for that day. What level were you at for that Merak fight anyway? It sucks to miss out on all the awesomeness at the second day.
It was a while ago so I barely remember but somewhere around like 16 maybe 18? I might be off due to a memory gap but distinctly remember the enemies available for me to grind right before Merak showed up being like 3 levels below me we depreciating value as I went on and lost my patience for the whole affair.

Your level is high enough. If you ever give that another shot you might want to just rush the boss.
The first pt of DS1+2 is always the hardest as Atlus purposely put a exp cap(which lowers exp from enemies as you get higher level) in NG+, you can get rid of it so oyu can just get everyone to like lvl99 on the first day.
Another mechanic is that you'll be upgrading demons constantly in your first PT until you get the good stuff so grinding demons is useless in the long run. That's because of how the demon attributes are handled.
Also lvl18? You're fine for that boss. In reality you should be fine at the final boss ay lvl70 really (unless your nuts and go for the hardest route off the bat in your pt)

Tried that the bridge exploded. I gave it like 7 good attempts before calling it quits, dealing with all the disks and demons plus needing to watch were I positioned my guys so they wouldn't get ice beamed was a bit too much.
Most likely my team set up, never was sure which demons to bring along for maximum effect. It was like two years ago though, don't even have to save file anymore.

Lol man you weren't even playing Record Breaker. I'm over here talking about DLC and shhhhh
Break Record also has a easy mode and is more balanced.
Might try the new balance at some point, right I'm just not feeling the pull. The anti-hype is still too fresh.

That's one of the most positive aspects looking at the reviews. Especially if the reviewer played the original release and had a tough time with it. I made it a point to beat the game on Apocalypse though. I think the +10 levels a day goal I set for myself helped a lot. So I always had good selection of demons to fuse for that day.
Devil Survivor Overclock and Devil survivor 2: Record Breaker fix so many issues with the DS version(Overclock sees the most fixes since the DS version was horrible) along with alot of new content.
Still wish there was dual audio tho for both, by far the worst dubbing from Atlus.

I was going to do the hardest route on my first pt but I chicken out. Flashbacks of the DS version and rage at that route came flooding forth.

Overclocked's cast sounds like ass (especially Yuzu) from the few videos I've seen. Maybe there's some gems outside of the few characters I heard. I haven't played the game yet. Record Breaker is great though. Ben Diskin (Daichi) probably being the star of the whole thing. But I thought everybody fit how the characters acted. Especially that cop on the first day.

I'm looking forward to Persona 5 Very Easy mode.
