Static attribute bonuses are effectively useless when leveling gives you 3 per level (unless that changes in DAI but I don't think we have info about this).

Dwarves can have extra Magic resistance, Constitution multiplier or and bonus in crafting.

Dalish can have extra willpower multiplier, extra survival abilities? Like some health regen threshold out of combat or some first aid ability?

Humans can have an extra talent or extra urban skills like persuasion or better prices. Not sure how skills work in inquisition.

Qunari can have stun/poison resistances, extra strength or perhaps an ability that increases their damage for a while?

I like all of those ideas, but I'd also like more modest stat bonuses for race and class, minor like 6 points and 2 class, just as a 'starter kit' type of thing. In addition to the kinds of things you're suggesting. And then +5 of the player's choice.

Like:

Humans: +1 strength +2 dexterity +1 magic +1 willpower +1 constitution

Elves: +3 dexterity +2 magic +1 willpower

Dwarves: +2 strength +3 constitution +1 wiillpower

Qunari: +4 strength +2 constitution

Warrior: +1 strength +1 constitution

Rogue: +1 dexterity +1 intelligence

Mage: +2 magic

+5 player choice

edit: Clarifying a little bit about the Intelligence stat: I think this stat should have more wide ranging effects than it has so far, and should not be an innate bonus to any race or class.  ..other than Rogue :P

I feel like lore-wise Qunari should get a much bigger boost to Constitution than Dwarves.

It sounds good, but what about this? I've edited the bonuses in red.

Sure, it's practically the same anyway. Same layout/structure.

I feel they should get strength over dwarves mainly due to size. Dwarves just seem a little bit more, robust than the other races.

 I don't know.

The Qunary PC will probably be some kind of mercenary (probably as mage too) to survive in a hostile land. Now I may be wrong, but I assume that mean lots and lots of walking/running so she or he will have very good endurance.

The dwarf on the other hand will be having more strength development.

Edit: ...I forgot that in DA universe con means more health without the endurance part so my reasoning is bad....let the Qunary have lots of Will:)

Racial differences would be nice. If you naturally have 50 kilograms more muscle then a human it seems reasonable that you'd be stronger then a human. You'd need to eat more to. I also believe that your class should influence this though. After all even if you're biologically well suited to developing muscles you're not going to unless you work at it.

I believe the difference would need to be dynamic though rather then static so it'd be a factor throughout the game. Something like one race gets 10% more strength then a human does as a racial. I'd regret it if this resulted in the qunari inquisitor being the least suitable as a mage but I believe it'd make the races more distinct which is a good thing.

Not as robust as the Qunari. Sten could go for weeks without water. Physically, the Qunari seem to have a dramatic advantage over all other races. They are also completely immune to the Sar-Quamek.
