I am not that good with mage characters in DAO. I was wondering if some one can give me some pointers to character builds with Morrigan to give me a good example.

In my experience, Morrigan works best as a debilitator mage, so she's supposed to weaken enemies so your other characthers can finish them off quickly and effortlessly. To do this, you need to focus on Spirit and Entropy trees, and spend all your attribute points on Magic and Willpower at level ups. For second specialization, I took Blood Mage. Here are talents, skills and tactics my Morrigan had at the endgame (and she was pretty powerful):

A lot's going to depend on whether you're playing on console or PC. On console, she starts with a very low magic score so you need to put every point in magic. On PC, you can respec so you can put other points in other things.

It's also depend if she's your only mage or if you're bringing another mage. If she's your only one, I'd make her 2nd spec Spirit Healer.

I'll go along with Spirit/Entropy-as that's how she'll usually start. You might pick up the Arcane Line-+5 spellpower will help Morrigan more than a usual mage.

If you can get spellpower high enough, I'd go with filling out Shapeshifter. The real issue though-magic has to be high enough.2nd spec-your choice.

I like to have Rock Armor and Stone Fist, and the first three Glyphs for Mages; prefer these to the higher tier Entropy selections. These spells work well for defense, offense, and crowd control.
