From what you have understood? I take it you never actually played ME3.
You take it wrongly then.

He made KOTOR so il respect him forever for that. However just because he created Mass Effect doesn't mean we can overlook it's flaws.
George Lucas made Star Wars and then he butchered it, Mass Effect is pretty much the same case.
Well, no big loss there.
Meh, couldn't care less. I wish him the best though.
I wish him the best on his next job.
He fell from grace. The major failure of ME3 caused me to lose all interest in the idea of continuing the ME universe.
Thus I'm glad he won't be on board with the making of ME4.
I honestly feel they shouldn't make a Mass Effect 4 at all.
Was it mentioned why he left BioWare?
Wouldn't doubt if it was because he realized how hard BioWare is falling and wanted to gtfo.

He was one of the reason's why the series exist in the first place, helped made KOTOR and is considered to be one of Bioware's valued member's so its a huge loss for them.

It's about as tragic as Star Wars losing George Lucas.
A huge loss if they're going to start a new series but once you've got one going the big, wild ideas turn in to a liability. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, some peoples' strengths are in getting things going, others in keeping it going. A succesful company needs both.He was one of the reason's why the series exist in the first place, helped made KOTOR and is considered to be one of Bioware's valued member's so its a huge loss for them.
I wouldn't say so as he was part of the trilogy since day one and has made a lot of contributions to the series, **** up's are going to happen (not saying its a good thing but it's a fact of life). I think it'd be better to just simply learn from past mistakes instead.A huge loss if they're going to start a new series but once you've got one going the big, wild ideas turn in to a liability. Well, whatever it was for, I hope it wasn't for the constant hate he got from everywhere.
But yeah, I hope he gets a good job somewhere, it's a ****** to find one nowadays.

BioWare lost their way years before he decided to quit imo.

I have, numerous times. ME1 is the reason I got back into gaming, and back then I considered it to be one step short of Star Trek. That has all changed and it's no use discussing the particulars.
But you have to give credit when it's due.
The internet is really bad at doing that.
People tend to prefer to just throw it all at whoever happens to be the public figurehead for a larger group of people.
meh the guy did a nice job overall
too bad all people remember is the horror that was ME3 final 10 minutes
Not all ME players see it that way.
Not all ME players see it that way.
and yet for some reason we all always get grouped together when people complain about something they didn't like.
Not all of us think that it was only the ending that fcuked up ME3 tbh.
ME1 had some flaws that stuck out, but overall it was a great game that got the players more interested in this new universe.
ME2 was just hands down fantastic. Completely surpassed the first one.
Then you have ME3. Ehhhh... We all know the complains by now so I won't restate them. But I will say that I feel like the MP was the worst thing ever. They became more focused on how "awesome" we can make the MP rather than focusing on the game as a whole. I didn't really like the MP anyway.
Point is, just because something *use* to be great, doesn't mean it is anymore.
You can respect and acknowledge their old work all you want, but it doesn't justify the fact that their recent work is a pile of crap.
And a good number of people also don't care about the series anymore as well. The DLC might have been an improvement, but it still wasn't worth the price of the game as a whole. The ME universe had its moments and its chance, it's over now. Better to let it end than for them to release another crap game thus giving the ME series an even worse reputation.
DA:I will ultimately determine if EAWare is picking themselves up or continuing to crash and burn tbh.
I think that's more or less people clinging onto false hope.
And I never said that another ME would be bad, just that they need to realize that ME3 was a screw up and not worrry so much on "how fast can we make this game and produce it". First step, they really ought to listen to their fans, but they don't.
If they were to make a prequel of say the First Contact war, then that could be probable.
I just don't see losing Casey Hudson as a big deal. The ME series started dying after the release of ME3. Even if he hadn't left, the ME series was still in shambles compared to the ME2 days.
Pehaps Casey leaving opens a doorway for someone else to take on the ME universe if EAWare wills it.
It could be better, it could not. It's a shot in the dark.
But we must realize that all good things come to an end.

Lol @ "brought this masterpiece to life". It irks me when people give one person too much credit.
Meh, couldn't care less. I wish him the best though.
On an unrelated note, WOW! Someone actually phrased this CORRECTLY? There's hope for humanity.
At the end of the day, if EA feels that the Mass Effect franchise is a profitable proposition, then it will greenlight more Mass Effect games and content. There's probably as much, or more interest from BioWare's fanbase for a Jade Empire sequel, but that is not judged to be a profitable proposition. So I doubt that will ever be a reality. It's not really a matter of "interest", it's a matter of potential moniez.
That said, there are numerous cases where companies who bank on the loyalty of their consumers have gone "one game too many" in any given series and you can see the deterioration in the quality of the game if the creative talent is already dried up or the developers lose sight of what made their games special. Lord British should've stopped at Ultima VII pt. 2, etc.
This is especially true when it comes to reboots - Hitman: Absolution, Thief (albeit different developers), Duke Nukem Forever, and the like.
There are of course counter examples, such as how Ubisoft has rebounded from Assassin's Creed 3 with Black Flag. Will it work out?
Perhaps, perhaps not. At this point in time, all we have is their record. And their recent record is mixed at best. So I wouldn't be surprised if Mass Effect 4 is not the greatest thing since sliced bread.
As for Casey, he was a key figure during Mass Effect's development. But still, he was only one man. Good luck to him in the future.
