I freely admit to being uncomfortable with various inferences that the Wardens may be up to something unsavory in the grand scheme, and that is even after knowing that they've long accepted blood mages into their ranks, or forcibly conscripted members, or in the case of Sophia Dryden (launched a rebellion against a sitting monarch).
No matter what agenda the organization may be up to, or despite the occasional aberrant individual Warden, our entry into this whole franchise CLEARLY gave us the impression that the Grey Wardens were heroes of old, due honor & status based upon their sacrifice to monitor and face the darkspawn and end the blights.
I hope that if we are put in a situation that requires the Inquisition to consider taking up arms against the Wardens, that it proves to be a compelling NEED to do so that doesn't end up making the Wardens look like they were an evil "front" all along. That to me would be game breaking, and as much as I've played these games over and again, I'm not sure if I would want to continue with it?
What are you taking about? DAO and DA2 showed us that the GWs were idiots and scheemers.
In DAO Duncan openly supports a strategy that actively threatens the survival of Ferelden. Riordan launches himself off a building to stop a dragon. Utha and other GWs openly conspire with the Architect, a being they should be doing everything in their power to stop. In DA2 the GWs threaten Hawke's family to get Malcom to go along with their ploy and otherwise they tried to free Corypheus.
They're not heroes. Their proganda says they're heroes, but I'm sure that Tevinter propaganda paints them in a great light.

It would greatly depend on the situation. Are they doing something that would necessitate my taking that course of action? If so, then they'll have to go. Are they being misled or being compelled in some fashion? If so, is there some way to work around that obstacle and salvage the greater part of the order?
These types of questions are difficult until I get into the game and story and start really uncovering what's actually going on.

"It depends."
I mean at this point too many unknowns to answer.

I love the Grey Wardens..but, probably yes. Yes, because attacking *some* Grey Wardens has nothing to do with the entire faction. There are random bands of Grey Wardens doing things they have no business doing and (presumably) no other Grey Wardens know it's happening. Like Janeka. I will always kill idiots like Janeka and her goons and not feel bad about it.
I side with Janeka but only because of the scene that brings.
I would imagine that Cory would've taken a new warden by the time you encounter him anyway.

But only to a point. Need some of them around to solve the next blight, most likely.

Actually with a spoiler from the achievements list, and from the novel the last flight, in guessing there may be a damn good reason why we see the wardens being attacked....

Honestly, I don't know. Chances are, I won't.
BTW, it's spelt "Grey Wardens." Just saying.

would need a reason. Not going to say no, but then not going to do it just coz I can.

Nope, in fact, I admire these guys so much that violence would my last option.

It's highly unlikely I'd attack them, unless they side with and support the mages for some reason.

Probably not. The only faction I'm not bothering to use diplomacy with is the Dalish.
Everyone else gets the talkey talk.

Like with so many other replies, it depends on the situation.
But as a general inclination, no, not unless I had a darn good reason for it.

I would defend myself from an attack but would not go out of my way to attack them. There will be more blights in the future I am sure so killing them would only make things worse in the long run so defend against an attack would be yes, go out and attack them would be no.
I would never choose to attack them unless all choice was removed from the equation and I would be annoyed if that was the case as it would seem like DA2 in which Bioware would be pushing too hard on the inability to effect change and resorting to the emphasis on powerlessness once again by removing it as a players choice.

It depends. Are they possessed? Taint doing something wrong and now they're acting bizarre and dangerous? I need to know the circumstances.

Why the flibberty gibbert wouldn't I? My Inquisitor is not a Warden, he/she/it has no loyalty towards them. I as a player like them but its the same situation I have with any of the previous companions. I wont like it but I will put them down if necessary.

If it isn't possible to talk them down, then I will destroy them!
I would rather be buddies though, if it's an option.
