If you noticed the trend when these Multiplatform titles such as Inquisition releases the PS3-360 versions get the Shaft & Short-End of the Stick. Being certain modes to certain features that will not be on the PS3-360 version of the same game.

 

Being games such as WWE 2K15 which My Career Mode is exclusive to PS4-X1, now there is rumors suggesting NPCs will be Taken out Completely of the PS3-360 version of Inquisition.

 

I also do not think it is right for us paying Full Price on PS3-360 games of the same game if these Publishers are going to Strip & Take out certain features & make them Next Gen exclusives.

 

I hope the rumors on the NPCs being Taken out of the PS3-360 version of Inquisition is merely just Speculations & Rumors.

 

Mainly I think this is just a Ploy to get people to upgrade to a PS4 or X1 by saying the game is Better, more Visuals, Yatta, Yatta, so on & so forth pumping up the new Consoles. When in reality many of us can not drop down 450 on a PS4 or a X1, so we will be playing this on our 360's or PS3's for a couple of more years.

 

I think no matter the game no matter The Publisher I think each versions of these games should Feature the Exact Same Content  or Modes or Features. Being My Career in 2k15 should also been in the PS3-360 version. Like I said just a ploy to Upgrade to New Consoles such as all these Remakes such as Sleeping Dogs.

 

I hope Inquisition will be alright on PS3-360 versions of the game, I have heard nothing mentioned or shown or talked on the PS3-360 versions I guess they forgot that those 2 versions Exist.

 

Has me Equally worried on & about Inquisition cause nothing has been Shown regarding PS3 version, Such as how it plays, Runs, or what is different or how much as Been taken out. Compared to the PS4 version.

 

While I know PS4-X1 is the main Selling Point, many still will be playing PS3-360 versions, so we also need Coverage on those systems explaining the Details & how it is Different than PS4 & X1 versions.

 

I know PS3-360 versions will be Watered Down & likely will not have everything in it Hopefully NPCs will be LEFT ALONE.

 

Like I said if they do this then Inquisition on PS3-360 should not be FULL Price.

They get the shaft AND the short end of the stick? That's too much for the filthy console peasants. They should get one or the other. Or maybe one and they have to buy the second as DLC, or only get it by being an XBox gold member.

Whatever the case, if you want the best game possible then fork over the money to get a current-gen console or buy a PC and learn to periodically upgrade. The XBox 360 came out in 2005, play on it and you're going to get a game that looks and runs like it was made 7-10 years ago.

Uh, I don't think they're going to take out any NPCs you can actually interact with. There may be fewer random people on screen during crowd scenes to save on processing power, but does that really matter? Obviously the game won't be as pretty on the last gen consoles (in all sorts of ways) but there's nothing to be done about that.

The reality of the matter is, it takes time and thus money to optimize an engine for a platform. Them concentrating on next-gen is only natural, it's the new hot thing.

 

What i'm saying is, had DAI been just on last-gen it would have probably looked a little bit better than DAI does now on last-gen.

 

On the other hand, you get the direct comparison, which makes it stand out more.

Still they could make the effort to make the game the same no matter the age being 10 year old consoles or not. The PS3 still runs well & future PS3 games show the PS3 is not dead.

 

Being upcoming games from Tales of Xillia 2, Tales of Zesteria or Persona 5 which is a PS3 Exclusive & runs on a brand new Engine.

 

Also I am not a Peasant, I have other things to do in 2014, 2015 such as me getting my Nintendo 3DS XL with Bravely Default, Smash, Fantasy Life. Fire Emblem.

 

Then in 2015 it is going to be Wii U with X Chronicles, Bayonetta 2, Fox, Zelda, to Shin X Fire Emblem with what I hope is a new Metroid Prime.

 

Also I don't think there is enough on the PS4 to make me justify a 450 Price Point when the PS3 is still going on strong with Sacred 3, Fairy Fencer, Ar Tonelico Prequel to Kingdom Hearts 2.5 or P5 & TOZ in 2015.

 

Just cause something old doesn't mean it SUCKS, I still own my 15 year old PS2, I am just saying I wished these Publishers would show the same love to PS3-360 versions.

 

I already paid off my Inquisition, on my PS3 got the Deluxe Version with Strategy Guide. Regardless of what is in it, or what has been taken out of PS3 version. I still get to play the Game, to me THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS.

 

Rather how I play the game being Empty, Bare-bone, or DEFAULT I will play Inquisition, on PS3 I waited 4 years I WANT THE GAME NOW.

 

No matter how Inquisition, Looks, plays or be like on PS3 I will play it even if I have to play Inquisition on DEFAULT.

 

Also just cause I still own my PS3 doesn't make me a Peasant or my Friends Peasants we are just smart gamers.

I actually doubt it. One thing I've learned about multi-gen game releases is, the later gen versions aren't significantly better. Reason being, they can't make it too much better or they end up making an obscene amount of extra work for themselves to downgrade it enough to work (this is also why third party games rarely went to Wii, too much effort to downscale most of the time). The better it is on other consoles, the more work it is to strip it down for the weaker ones. This is why PC versions of games aren't hundreds of times better than the console versions even though PC could handle it being that much better.

 

Bottom line, DAI isn't going to be graphical and technical monster on any consoles or PC. The last gen versions will hold all versions back. This is just how this stuff is. Which means that someone like me who is getting the PS3 version doesn't need to worry about it, whereas PC and current gen owners... Go cry about it.

Are we really gonna stoop to a console vs the PC "master race" debate? C'mon guys, I expected much more out of BSN. To answer the OP, no the PS3 and Xbox 360 version will have all the same features and modes(if more than just a campaign) as the PS4 and Xbox One. WWE 2K15 is showing favor to one side because they want to focus their efforts to one set of consoles for maximum production just like they did with NBA 2K14. The game won't look as good but it will still look amazing compared to other games on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

My understanding was that it was just characters wandering around in the background that were being cut and that it was simply because the PS3 can't handle rendering as many on screen at a time as the PS4 can. It's technical issue, nothing more. If you want more performance, you need more hardware.

The Xbox One version at SDCC looked exactly like the PC version.

By less NPCs they mean the ones in the background who you can't interact with but make the place feel livelier. 

 

For example say in an Inquisition camp, those who play on Xbox One, PS4, or higher end PCs will experience 20 NPCs. Those who play on Xbox 360, PS3, and lower end PCs will experience only 10.
