No but there's a way to change it with a tool. I think Tlk Editor? Not sure.

Then you create a PC with the head you like, export him, open his .bic file with the editor, search for the head number and you copy the number in the .bic file of your save/character.

I took a peek.

in a savedgame, i opened 'playerlist.ifo' - this is the PC - in TlkEdit2.
sure nuff, "Appearance_Head" is on the list. So are things like hair tint, facial hair, etc. etc. etc.

But yeah, these are numeric values so it'd be easiest to work from a toolset-created template of a character.

Ps. the .bic in the *savedgame* is merely some sort of level0 template -- not even sure why it's there

yes, but in the process of messing with overrides, haks and mods i overrode a head that one of my characters was using and thought changing it in game would be easier than starting a new game or trying to figure out which head i had overrode. i ended up clearing my override file of all the heads then had to find the head i was using and the override pack that put that head in the correct numbering order (many packs use the same heads but change numbering order for compatibility) and re installing it, which fixed the issue. in the long run reorganizing my override folder was the better option i just got overwhelmed and wanted an easy fix

thank you Luminus and KevL,
