13 people at each table.
If judas is number 2 from the left... this would mean *Drumroll* Solas will betray you!
Also note... Judas and Solas has the exact same number of letters in their names and both names ends in -as.
(Note: Not to be taken too seriously
Im not even religious, just found the similarities of the last supper and the wartable amusing)
This is just a coincidence right?

Unless the song you can make from that picture (like the song that's imbedded in the last supper panting) is actually from DAI. Then that'd be awesome.

Well, I think they purposely made the war table picture look like the last supper, so this might not be a coincidence.

Iron Bull is doubting Thomas eh. ![]()
Eh I just hope we won't have to sacrifice ourselves to save the world or something, don't want to be steam rolled into another Jesus ending if I can help it. ME did that already.

Don't go too nuts looking for points of comparison. Da Vinci also portrayed the disciples in descending order of height according to Jesus' favor, which would make Varric the automatic betrayer. The 4th person in from the left edge is Cole, not Solas. Peter is standing behind Judas and leaning over his shoulder, as opposed to Cole, who is in a similar pose to Peter but standing in the wrong spot around the table.

The Inquisitor will serve as his own Judas. At the climax of the game, he will stab himself in the back and then gloat evilly about how he never suspected himself as a traitor. The ensuing fight scene between the Inquisitor and himself will be awe-inspiring to behold.
Have you thought of becoming a video-game developer?

This again? Sometimes I wonder if the BSN is stuck in some sort of odd, fluctuating time-loop.
Anyway as I said way back when, sometimes people standing along one side of a table are just people standing along one side of a table.
And nobody there is Judas, for the simple reason that the true villain of the dragon age series, the ultimate betrayer, is not pictured. Schmooples will betray the Inquisitor, and the Inquisition... and Leliana.

That's mostly because there's nothing new to talk about. When Gamescon comes around, people will get their fix and then go back to old arguments and speculations.

The inquisitor is Shephard, Shephard is Jesus, this game will tie Mass Effect and Dragon Age together, and ME4 will be the most hyped game in history.
You heard it here first.

(Also it's possible that we see similarities where they can't be avoided, such as a dozen people standing at the table in a way that you can see them all at the same time always connect to the Last Supper in some people's minds. I certainly never made that connection before it was pointed out here)

I find this similarly somewhat troubling. What's it with the religious allusions in Bioware games lately? First ME3, now this... I hope it's unintentional this time.

I'm holding onto my "The Inquisitor is Moses" theory.
Now with talking burning bush!

Probably NOT a coincidence. Therefore, Solas or Cole are going to betray, just like Judas (they are around his spot at the table). Both connected to The Fade in different ways, both companions of the player-character during a Fade crisis. Would make the most sense.
BioWare also likes themselves a good betrayal story.

Meh, religious meanings, symbols, references can be find everywhere if one wants there to be. I recall a video explaining how games are infatuated by religion b/c the protagonists names are always religion related and their actions as well.

Spoiler
To be honest, if one of them does betray, and call me crazy or silly all you want, I want them to stay...betrayed. I don't want them to turn back and become 'good' again.
